My First Ever Kpop Concert (Kinda)

In case you didn’t know, April this year I started to become a kpop fan once again. I missed BTS’ concert and I missed the Super Pop Con (where my faves pentagon and btotb were a part of) And so I was giddy when I heard there was gonna be a Kpop Republic 2 in manila. The last Kpop Republic was years ago and they even had EXO so I was kinda expecting they were gonna have on of my faves on the list. Unfortunately, none of my faves were. So I decided not to push going to the concert though the line-up was good, I just didn’t stan the groups that much.

Fastforward to the day of the concert, I was once again pissed off and annoyed with everyon inside the house and the venue was just blocks away from our house ‘cos welive near Makati Circuit so I told myself, why not go and get away from this mess of a house? And so I did and I was a bit happy ‘cos you know, music and concerts have this really magical effect on me.

I didn’t have a ticket so my plan was to go up the second floor part of the outdoor mall but turns out they covered it so you won’t get to peek at the concert (what a bummer) Anyway I went to the back part of the concert (not the backstage the part beyond thegeneral admission) and luckily they opened a small portion of the high rails that they put to cover up the open venue so us, the Team Labas, get to watch the concert a little bit. I was happy and contented with that so I just stood there where I can see a bit of the stage and listened to the performances of the artists.

So yeah, there’s my spot! Yeah I know I can barely see a things but I can clearly hear the music so it was good. I didn’t pay for any ticket anyway so.. why complain? haha.

I didn’t stan most of the group and to be honest I only know like three songs. So GFriend performed first, I only know their song Me Gustas Tu which is a real bop I must say. Next was NFlying I think? And I gotta say their songs are really good! I might check out their album sometime. Next was a group that I kinda stan!! It was WJSN or Cosmic Girls and I really love their song Happy!! I was so happy when they sang it first! And the most awaited group of the evening was NCT 127 and I only know their song Cherry Bomband everyone went wild when they performed.

Oh! And while NCT was performing there was a guy selling posters for like 50 pesos for 2 posters and I saw a BTS poster and I immediately took out the only money I had which was 30 pesos and I wanted to buy two ‘cos there’s 10 pesos discount but I only have 30 pesos. One poster is 30 pesos.

So, yeah I bought one poster. This is my first ever unofficial BTS poster slash merch and I was really happy. I came to a concert where BTS isn’t even a part of and my take-home is a BTS poster hahahaha.

(I’m so fond of this new film camera app Huji by the way. I’m planning to buy the Gudak app)

Oh! And I was also standing by this cute dog I had to take a picture huhu I love cute doggos!!!!!

So, yeah, that’s my first ever unofficial Kpop concert. I just started stanning CNBLUE and I really hope and pray I could go to their concert here in Manila on December. If anyone knows someone willing to give me a free ticket please hit me up I’m a poor fan huhu.
