Day Fifteen: Hear
This is the band shell in Krape Park in my hometown. (Krape Park is spelled the same forward as backward, cool huh?) In the summertime, there are several free concerts every month. It's kind of amazing how the shape of the shell and your relation to it affects the way you hear the music. When you're taking part in the event, sitting in the seats and watching, you hear it very clearly and loudly, even without microphones. If you're on the other side at the concession stand or the baseball diamond, it's hard to hear anything, and what you do hear tends to be distorted and strange.
