i think I like krashley
oh fuck
couldnt sleep last night & started thinking really really hard about stockholm syndrome krashley. krauser who doesn't really treat ashley like a victim, isn't abusive or disgusting or deluded by religion like los illuminados - who knows ashley is an important piece to the puzzle so he keeps her pristine (enough). ashley who gets carted around by krauser more like a misbehaving pet than anything else.
before leon, ashley found comfort in krauser. away from the rotting villagers and faceless followers of saddler, she found his little bit of humanness grounding
when taken from leon in the grand staircase (right before the salazar fight LOL) and it being krauser hanging onto her, she's not scared. she's just tired
this could go on and on, like ashley sitting in krauser's captivity kneeling next to where he sits using his thigh as a headrest - bound and gagged because krauser finds her kicking and screaming and crying annoying - while a big hand of his lays on her cheek. one ear against muscle and the other covered by his palm, ashley listening to the calm pound of her heart (krauser's probably chainsmoking...)

also love casual costume ashley being alternative. miss scene queen ashley graham and her elder emo middle aged best friend jack krauser. every week she points out the scars from his old shark bites and says “one day i’ll talk you into repiercing those” as krauser just rolls his eyes
