Last weekend I met Haim and it was a complete dream. I’ve written a blog post about everything that went down, from why Danielle made this crazy face at me to how utterly magnificent my best pals have been. It was one of the most special experiences I can remember and I’ll cherish it for a very long time.

@krasinskisaurus and I collaborated to write a Fitzsimmons fic inspired by that interview with Iain and Elizabeth where everything became about sex. (It’s finished, as well, so regular chapter updates are a guarantee!)

How amazing it is to find someone who wants to hear about all of the things that go on inside my head, and who’ll take us on a detour to get home because it means we’ll get to listen to ‘Satisfied’ and ‘Wait For It’. You are inimitable, you are an original. Can’t wait to see you in two days, along with #2 and #3.

@galacticaagirl - Laura is the person I Facetime when, having watched The Force Awakens for the second time, the sadness hits and I want someone to cry with. She also relentlessly puts up with the Carrison receipts I send her (and called me Fox Mulder for this, just fyi), making her probably the most patient human in the world (perhaps tied with Hannah). As our beloved space father, Edward James Olmos, would say: Oh man…. LAURA! you are too much…. what a nightmare…. BOBBI.

@krasinskisaurus - I’m pretty sure it was Emma who first referred to me as Indiana Jess, but I’ve decided that this makes her the cool language professor I would consult to translate hidden messages I discover inside ancient relics. We’d have the best time unearthing world-changing secrets while laughing uproariously about The Room and her incessant use of the phrase “blasters fired”.

@hillaryrclinton - Alex is straight-up hilarious, possibly my favourite person on Twitter, and one of the major reasons that the old Skype days of the West Wing fandom hold such a fond memories. No one is as true to their brand as Alex. She’s the kind of friend I fangirl about because I’m just excited that she has like a second of time for me. Also has a strong appreciation for salmon, which I respect. 

@alyciadeb - I’m low-key obsessed with Beth and want her to love everything I love. She’s funny and she loves dogs and she’s super kind when I harass her to watch things and did I mention funny? She also introduced me to this hilarious news story about a Clexa (The 100) fanfic being misinterpreted as a news story, and it’s maybe the best thing I’ve ever seen.

OKAY, so the thing about shots is that it has the ~no pressure vibe of a snapchat story bc all you can do is post a picture (and you can’t upload a picture either, it has to be taken right then) and a caption and all anyone else can do is like it p much, no commenting, and no one else can see how many likes you have on a picture or even how many followers you have and it’s just so CHILL but also better than snapchat, it keeps all of the pictures you post, like on instagram, so idk i guess i like the vibe of shots a lot plus like the only person on it who matters is maia mitchell and she’s the shit so
