I’m like 1000000000% sure that everybody just closes the tab if they want to go, you know? Even I do that.

Well personally, I keep msparp in a single tab, so I just hit backspace usually if I want to return to the menu. However, if I'm the first to leave, now that I'm aware of the apparent change I make sure to hit the DC button so that there's no confusion for my partner.

If they've left first though I don't bother since backspacing out is faster.

Yeah, when people disconnect now, it says that they timed out. It’s very confusing and I hate having to wait, but I want to make sure I’m not the one leaving them, y’know?

Well, using the actual Disconnect button still counts as a disconnect and sends the proper message through. It's just using alternate browser navigation that causes this.
