What is the KRFC?

The KRFC, also known as the Kill Rocket Fan Club, is an organization dedicated to bringing the notorious Rocket Graystone to justice, in any way possible.

The KRFC was founded in October 2019 in response to Rocket's first verified appearance, turning against his loving owners, the Graystones, and leading a series of increasingly bold crimes through the matriarch of the Graystone clan, threatening her children and personal information if she did not comply with his demands.

Since then, the KRFC and our allies have worked tirelessly to track down Rocket and make him account for his crimes, losing several dedicated members, such as our President, Ouisa Morales, in the process. Ouisa's loss and those of Rocket's other victims have only served to reassure the KRFC of our mission as we get closer to finding and defeating Rocket once and for all.

This blog contains resources for learning more about Rocket and the KRFC's role in the ongoing cathunt, as well as the efforts of our allies and adversaries. A great place to start would be listening to our audio play, The Story of Ouisa Morales, which showcases how we came to be, and is dedicated to our former leader, may she rest in peace.

What's So Bad About Rocket?

From what you heard, Rocket is just an innocent little cat. A fictional cat, even. In fact, you may have not heard about Rocket at all!

This is what he thrives on. Rocket is a notorious criminal, one who uses his appearance and “cute” demeanor to manipulate people into doing what he wants.

The facts are that Rocket has hurt a lot of people, a lot of children. He has an extensive list of crimes, and dozens of witnesses. But still he gets away.

Why, you may ask? Because there’s simply no way a cat could do any of that. Cats are sweet and cuddly! I promise, the criminal known as Rocket Graystone is neither. 

If you go near him, Rocket will attack you. Ask his former owner Emma. If you trust him, he’ll use you. Ask Emma’s mother.  And if you dare, for a second, get in his way, well then, you might just end up dead.

We at the KRFC know the risks, we've seen them firsthand, but we also know the truth. Ask yourself, which do you care about more: Justice, or giving the fuzzy wittle kitty a scratch on the back?

“Where did the KRFC come from?”

We’ve been asked that question since founding, and never really answered it. We figured it wasn’t important, because focusing on the past can distract from the future. But with new details that have come to light, we’ve found thay this story can no longer be forgotten by history.

This Halloween, the Kill Rocket Fan Club presents The Story of Ouisa Morales!

Written by Vice President Hafsah, this audio show features a great many of our members as well as figures from our organization’s past that should be remembered.

Come hear for yourself where we came from and who we are on Saturday evening!

How Do I Know If a Cat is Rocket?

Rocket presents himself in many ways, and is essentially a master of disguise. He uses this to infiltrate the homes of various families without drawing suspicion, trying to keep the KRFC and other organizations like it off his tracks.

Rocket has been utilizing disguises for as long as the KRFC has been aware of him, as seen in the picture below. This is one of few confirmed photographs of Rocket, and the only one from his time with the Graystone family.

While staying with the Graystones, Rocket is seen with gray coloring, which we assume was from rolling in ash, likely a result of an arson.

At this time the KRFC believes Rocket's natural coloring to be a shade of orange, as we have witnessed in our close encounters with him, most notably his attempt on our Vice President's life. She describes his appearance at the event as “bright orange, with slightly messy fur and a stare that could destroy worlds if a single glance could kill”, even managing to take a photograph of Rocket fleeing the scene, as seen below.

While Orange and Gray may be the most common depictions of Rocket, he possesses the ability to change very quickly, usually by finding some sort of concealing substance (think 101 Dalmatians). This leaves him with many methods of disguise, in a wide range of colors. Luckily, we believe that Rocket does have some restrictions, as this makes him unable to don complicated patterns, at least without a human or equally adept accomplice.

So, dearest KRFC members and other justice-seeking citizens, be vigilant, question what you see, and keep your eyes open, for the fog of deciet may only be lifted by rational thought and action.
