Kriegsmaschine - Apocolypticists. The drumming on this album is insane. Not just the performances, but the sound engineer deserves a Grammy for excellence in his industry. The drums and especially the cymbals sound like they are alive, sentient, and coming for you from every direction

ALBUMS OF THE WEEK. Here are the nine albums that got the most playtime this week. The clear winner was Uada’s excellent new album, Djinn. Wormwitch came back on my radar after they announced a surprise new tape that collects their early works and a couple of new recordings. Minenwerfer and Panzerfaust hang on another week because they’re awesome. The great new discovery of the week is an album I missed in 2019: Deus Mortem - Kosmocide (high quality Polish black metal).
