AU where D'Angelo gets sent to RTTE era and joins the past dragon riders, learning their history, and attempting to leave notes and clues in the Hidden World at the end for Tom and the group to find

I have an AU idea called "The Brightest Night AU" that's basically just. What if they hatched outside under the three moons and what if Sunny and Tsunami had magic. Very self-indulgent fun silly AU lol.

I like to think the Nightwings got Starflight in late for this AU either due to poor planning or Scarlet having too many patrols or whatnot idk, point is he hatches on the way under the three moon and as such is born with both powers. He's named Starflight because of this as well, as he was born while soaring through the starry sky or something like that.

Tsunami is the first between her and Sunny to learn she has magic. Starflight got a scroll about Animus dragons and rambles about it to Tsunami, who thinks the concept is cool and starts pretending to be one.

"It'd be so cool to have magic! I'd be all like 'I enchant this rock to bonk my enemies!' 'I enchant this stick to choose the best Sandwing queen!' I enchant this scroll to burst into flames!'"

That last one, to Starflight's utter horror, actually worked. Sunny discovered hers by Tsunami rambling about her new magic and Sunny wishing she could have magic, to which her "instincts" told her she should try to cast a spell and so she did. Starflight warned them off using their magic because he was afraid of what their caregivers would do and also the scroll mentioned the whole "losing your soul" thing. I think I want his future sight to be limited to the most probable bad futures. Like he can see the two-three most probable good/neutral futures, but mostly he only sees the most probable bad futures. A little stronger than Moon but vastly weaker than Clearsight or Darkstalker. Clay and Glory remain unchanged, much to Glory's annoyance (Tsunami will NOT stop pestering her about being both royalty and an Animus).

I know the catalyst for their escape is Glory's life and Tsunami being stuck to a wall, but logically I feel it wouldn't work if two of the dragons are basically gods. As such, I think Sunny would discourage Tsunami from using her powers because she's scared of them both turning evil or their caretakers finding out (like Starflight warned), to which Tsunami is obviously annoyed. Clay does his thing and they get out, Scarlet catches them, and Tsunami in this instance does use her powers, enchanting all the weapons to turn on their holders and attack them. The group then flees, and Scarlet now knows at least one of them is Animus (also her hatred is transferred from Glory to Tsunami). They do the Clay-gets-to-meet-his-sibs thing and continue on to the kingdom of the Sea!

Now, Coral had A LOT of children so I do believe that both Turtle and Tsunami could be magic, after all Orca was, so there are three Animus royal Seawings running around. Tsunami doesn't mention right away that she has magic, and especially not after it's revealed that Anemone has magic and. Well. She sees that they're up to with her magic. Anyway blah blah blah typically plot but this time Tsunami opens the water herself (Sunny yells at her) and they escape that way, Anemone finds out her sister has magic and so does Whirlpool because he comes to visit and then Tsunami tackles him and he falls in the water [a/n, I wanted Tsunami to kill someone but since she can't kill Gill for. Reasons mentioned above I decided she should be the one to kill Whirlpool] and dies. The rest follows the same plot as the book, and they go to the Rainforest.

Blah blah blah book three blah blah Glory thinks about how she doesn't need Magic or Mind Reading or Foresight to be cool and Starflight does warn her something bad is gonna happen and she listens but doesn't fully listen cuz she knows he tends to overreact. Anyway something bad happens, she gets kidnapped! Normal plot stuff happens once more and we're on to book four.

Aaaaaand that's all I have so far. I need to reread books four and five to decide where they're going in terms of plot but I think this is shaping up to be an interesting self indulgent AU

It's a sketch I probably won't finish because I had an idea for a poster for Angelfall but I don't think I'll ever get around to actually drawing it. Anyway very short Angelfall except beneath the cut

"Those brothers, they're strange ones for sure. Some of us aren't really sure they're Monsters, at least not of pure dust anyway. Is it possible? For Angels and Monsters to..." The shopkeeper laughed and rubbed the back of her head, setting down the rag she was using to clean the counter. "Oh silly me, speculating on such blasphemous things!"

Angels and monsters...

"Well, I should close up shop soon! Though, a word of advice... I wouldn't trust the small one. He's...well, good night!"

Skylanders AU where Kaos did a big evil Kaos thing and now all the Skylanders are dead so a new set of Skylanders has to rise from the ashes of what once was to bring peace back to the Skylands. Here's my set up:

Xena, the Fire Neolander. She's a dwarf Fire Viper that joined the Neolanders when Kaos' forces started to overwhelm her colony's nesting site and captured them all

Thunderbird, the Air Neolander. Thunderbird is a hybrid between a phoenix and a kestra (Tessa's bird) that's able to harness the power of storms.

An-Dr01d, the Tech Neolander. An arkeyan mailman, it joined the Neolanders upon being revived by Thunderbird and vowing to serve them.

Spunky, the Magic Neolander. They did not choose to be named Spunky but they gave up trying to convince the others not to call them that, a Magic Spell Punk that joined the Neolanders because they were bored also really don't like Kaos.

Chompod, the Life Neolander. A chompy pod on wheels protected by a group of no less than six chompies at a time. Unsure why Chompod joined the team, doesn't really seem to have the capacity for reason.

Sugarbat, the Undead Neolander. She's a sugarbat who fought against the darkness of her home and learned to harness the power of the Undead. She joined the Neolanders to hopefully be able to return her home to the peaceful place it once was.

The Young Hydra, who can divide itself into four small dragons (Sphynx, the Light Neolander. Nyx, the Dark Neolander. Rox, the Earth Neolander. Lynx, the Water Neolander.). It joined under the promise of being able to return to its centuries long nap after the defeat of Kaos, and all it wants to do is sleep.

Anyway. Random ideas I had that I might get to one day possibly idk:

- Sarisk, an Undertale au where Sans, Frisk, and Chara are merged into one entity

- The Auxiliary Team, an HTTYD next gen fic where the third movie never happens but Hiccup and Astrid still have kids and the kids get new friends and become the new dragon riders, taking the place of the A team that came before them except now there's new roles and whatnot

- The Lone Rider, Astrid never catches Hiccup and he runs away, never looking back. Stoic tries to find him, fails, and he goes beyond the archipelago. Last he hears of Berk is from a story Johan is telling of an island that starved and burned, leaving nothing but desperate Vikings behind. Astrid is the new cheiftess.

- Mia and Me, I kill the movie and write my own fucking season because what the hell she would not just accept never going back what

- Fire in The Night, a short fic about a Nightwing on the volcano island, struggling to sleep, as her sister grows ever more still beside her

- Doctor Please, a short fic about a Leafwing putting himself in harms way so his boyfriend, a healer, will take care of him

- How To Train Your Viking, a species swap of HTTYD where Berk is an island of dragons at peace and the Red Death leads a group of dragon hunters that pillage islands for their food and always dragons, Toothless has piercings and the twins are Changewings because I don't think Ruff and Tuff would be a Zippleback in all honesty

- Echo and Mango, a speed stinger raises a night fury, there is no real dialogue

- Hiccup is raised with Valka, a story where cloudjumper took both of them

- Self Insert Fantasy Where I Ride A Dragon And Also My Forever OCs Are There Too, self explanatory. Takes place in RTTE era, third movie don't happen but I give my self insert a deathgripper because they are my children and I love them
