Karnataka govt will spend Rs. 2,000 crores to make another big statue
The Karnataka government has proposed a 350 feet tall statue of Mother Cauvery at the Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) store in Mandya area, Deccan Herald announced. With the goal to ensure that the statue is noticeable for its guests, it will stand on a 125 feet base. Karnataka Minister, DK Shivakumar said that the proposed figure will like a tower. He said that the land belonged to the state and no govt money will be used in it.
