About the DC con: One anon said they didn't go to the Saturday concert either after everything that was going on. Can you give me the background of the situation?

Sure, for those who aren't aware, Krista (aka Kreespa), a convention veteran who's been attending since 2009 and who has also filmed multiple panels, has terminal cancer and this is her last convention. Creation and those involved have termed DC KristaCon in her honor. They've put together shirts and allowed her to pick the songs for SNS. She was also the guest on Kim and Briana's podcast recording.

I'm sure there will be more happening tomorrow and there's really just been a lot of love and support surrounding Krista and her family this weekend.

SPN DC, aka #KristaCon, was pretty heavy on the heart emotionally but the ops came out fantastic.

This is absolutely the cutest MishMish op I've ever had.

This came out even better than I hoped. "Can we do hug from behind? And you... just fawn over the car." (He understood the assignment.)

After testing out the selfie pose with Mish last con, I took it for another spin. Also Jensen's shirt was ridiculously soft.

Philemon Chambers (Gus from Walker:Independence) was an absolute delight. He brought his mom to the con!

Even though I cried my way through SNS and left on Sunday feeling pretty deep in the emotional thinky thoughts, I am so glad I was there to experience this con. It was a demonstration of all that is good and beautiful about the #SPNFamily. <3

so glad i got to spend a bit of time at dccon over the last few days! I didn't get to see Krista, but I did get to hug strob and irena and amy and heck... probably more people? it's been a long day lol. I kinda... forgot to take pictures mostly >.>

i heard a voice i absolutely recognized, like wait a second i think i know that guy, and then turned around and saw it was this guy...

speaking of Wait A Second I Know That Voice moments, i was in an upstairs hallway borrowing a side table to send mel pics of the autographed scripts i just picked up, turned around and absolutely 100% did not register the person coming off the elevator was jensen ackles until he made it this far down the hall...

so... i zoomed in on the photo to see if you could even tell it was him and

i apparently too this pic at the exact wrong (or right?) moment and it looks like his hand is just... hot dog fingers that got sent through a laminating machine or something, i have no idea what happened here lol

i was looking for kristina, who was waiting for the louden swain meet and greet and accidentally found louden swain instead (the meet and greet was one floor up, just running late, so i was able to find her right after this, but that enabled me to get the weird pic of jensen's hand in that upstairs hallway, so... win?)

but it was nice just being at a spn con for a little while. this fandom has so many excellent humans. :')
