'hey, maybe i can pray to the rock gods,' kristen lights up suddenly, glancing at fig's bass guitar and then up at the sky, as if she's just had the revelation of a lifetime. did she know if that was a real thing? no. has she experienced weirder shit? absolutely. 'i mean, i met literal jesus and he was a fratboy, so. in my mind, there's not really anything worse than that,' kristen gives a shrug before leaning back, placing her hands behind her head and gazing up at the ceiling. 'actually, you think they'd let me worship them even though i can't play an instrument? maybe i should learn the bassoon...' @fablelike.

NANCY WHEELER: WHY THE LONG FACE? as soon as someone points it out, kristen tries to perk back up immediately. the grin she now wears looks a bit awkward, somewhat uncomfortable - definitely forced. 'me? a long face? i have no idea what you're talking about...' but kristen deflates a bit. keeping up a happy appearance is hard when someone can just tell you're feeling down in the dumps. shoulders shrug as she looks at her hands. 'actually, my girlfriend's out've town - i just kinda miss her, y'know?' when kristen looks back up at nancy, she looks a little embarrassed about it. 'this is, like - my first real relationship, so i'm getting used to everything that comes with it,' @nancewheelr.

'oh, yeah! beautiful... very sunny. i feel like my skin's on fire,' that's about as casual as a kristen conversation can get, but she does give a smile to ethel. kristen has the sleeves of her tie dye shirt rolled up, hoping to cool down, though sweat beads at the base of her neck and the temples of her forehead. 'i think it'd be more beautiful if, y'know - there was a pool. or rain. or something else besides a burning sun absolutely destroying my epidermis. but yeah, it's definitely nice!' @freezeher.

i can understand this! i REALLY miss the connections and the collaborations and the characters, my own and those other's created, but it could also be exhausting work
