"Hm?" It isn't often that Chloe's mind wanders, yet she's found it happen too often lately. She hasn't even really eaten much of her lunch, just picking at it while they sit on their usual bench. Keira has been rambling on about something as per usual, just as Chloe keeps her cards close to her chest. Except it's not usual for her to not chip in every now and then. She's just been staring at some of the flower petals on the cobblestones further away, having blown from one of the nearby trees.

"Oh, sorry." She returns her focus to her lunch, takes apart a piece of bread. "I'm just not quite feeling myself. What were you saying?"

@callmeteor i think aster has some excellent insight on cloud strife fr. they really seem to consider every little detail of his personality and mannerisms, and presents them exceptionally in their headcanons. and the length of them??? it's like a mini novel. the brain be braining hard when hcs get that long.

@heartwilled gotta be my favourite claude von riegan i've ever come across. nox really dives deep on claude and wonderfully expands on the parts of him we only see lil bits of in fe3h. i am hanging on every word, every thought. he feels so fleshed out in nox's writing, i just wanna chew on him like a dog toy, you know???

okay so i literally forgot that @corpatrem's ben is an oc???? ben has become such an integral part of my dana that i cannot imagine the two of them not coexisting together in any universe. ben absolutely is dana's son through and through and no one else is going to tell me otherwise. tj brings such life to ben that he feels so real and the way that dana and ben have slotted together so well it's just absolute perfection that i cannot stop talking about

@hesjustcarter is always a delight to see on the dash. when they aren't absolutely devastating me with thoughts about carter, it's all the happy, funny, goofy vibes that always makes me smile. they put so much dedication into their carter too, there isn't a single aspect of him that they haven't considered and i love hearing about all their thoughts when it comes to him.

@frthestars deserves so much recognition. since i came back to tumblr, they've just been this absolute constant presence on the dash that i appreciate so much. i always know they're going to be there in hand with amazing replies and just always being there no matter what. they deserve all of the recognition and love in the world

😭 : someone whose writing always hits you emotionally

everything that i do with @faithhearted hits me in the feels every time that i receive a reply from them. i love the dynamics and relationships that we are exploring together and each and every one of them gives me so many feels. whenever i see a reply come in, i just know to expect to be emotionally damaged and then i always am the moment that i read their reply. i love it and i don't want it to stop etiher.

if it wasn't one thing, it was another. he could hardly make sense of this terrible day, moving about the ruined police station in a terror induced haze. he really has no time to to sit and rest and take stock of his situation, moving on autopilot and growing number with each passing heartache. a flash of recognition and a break from the dread comes at the call of a human voice, a real talking voice, and one he recognizes from a chance meeting hours earlier. and when @fablelike finally comes into view, leon takes several stunned moments to just look at her. after hours of unimaginable horrors and putting bullet after bullet in humans zombies seeing her again was like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

❝ claire ?! oh my god ! ❞ not for the first time tonight, leon's body turns to autopilot once more, feet go from frozen still to a run over to the woman, a bit of light returning to his eyes as a smile grows on his lips once he was face to face with her. ❝ oh man, you're a sight for sore eyes. ❞

the ton had been more eager to meet him , of course his intentions had flooded through high society quicker than a lady whistledown pamphlet . his eye caught violet bridgeton ; a woman of great stature , social standing and dazzling beauty . his sister kept close proximity to every deed he made , perhaps it was to drive him away or to simply be a cautious sibling . he had revelled in pointless conversation for a while , autumnal eyes searched for her across the room . . .

having endured what felt like an eternity , his mind wanders through the room , flooded with couples dancing and the typical chatter of the ton . and there , on her own , like venus herself reborn of seafoam ; violet . he smiles , making his excuses to part from dull conversation . effortlessly , he glides through a sea of bodies and the eyes of ladies desperate for his attention like vultures in a desert . he smiles , closing his proximity to her before he makes himself known .
