@kasaron To answer your question, I don’t believe any old joe should be able to obtain a gun, even if they pass a so-called back ground check. I believe America could learn a thing or two from other countries is regards to gun control.

That doesn’t answer my question at all.

I asked you if you believe, in your opinion that misuse of an object is grounds for banning it. 

I am asking you to answer a question of principle, not merely one of practice.

@kasaron My point is, despite the fact that shootings happen in America every week, American gun nuts are still convinced that guns are good for them.

Just to clarify, are you suggesting that the misuse of an object is reasonable grounds for banning it?
