The two museums are very interactive, so if you have kids, or kids at heart, you must try this.
There is just a 30NT fee but you can access both museum with that.

TIP #7 IF YOU HAVE A TIGHT BUDGET, 7-11 IS THE ANSWER
Unlike our 7-11 here, it's different in Taipei, they have a different kind of meal which is very budget friendly and has a good taste and it's easy to transact because all you have to do is to give whatever you're purchasing and pay. Unlike eating in restaurants, sometimes they don't have an english translation on the menu, so it will be hard to choose.
Lucky enough when we ate, the staffs are accommodating and good enough to help us choose our meal.
NOTE: The dictionary-translator really helped us a lot during our stay
