kiwi is blinded by the lights of vegas, always has been, ever since they were a child living in their little town surrounded by dirt and brahmin guts. so, when they get to vegas, they get their mind blown. for a few weeks, at least. that's when all the bright lights began to show how hollow they are. that's when kiwi sees vegas as a snake with beautiful shiny skin and a dark underbelly, immersed in the same dirt and guts that kiwi has known all their life

We love our little Jackie uwu 1.What was your muse's personality like as a kid? How has it changed since then? As a kid she was pretty happy and kept herself busy, that hasn't changed. She had responsibilities instilled in her early on, the benefits of being a part of a community. As a kid she was much more brash and bold, she had less finesse socially so she often put her foot in her mouth and said things without thinking even far past the age where that was 'cute'. She eventually learned better, sick of hurting feelings and making the people around her feel bad. Particularly Felicity. She learned to use tact, learned when to keep her mouth shut, how to use words with intent rather than saying things how it makes sense to her, to be less impulsive and think more before she acted. Due to the circumstances surrounding why she left home, she just shut it all down even further. So she's charming but almost painfully affable, hiding so much of herself behind a mask and sometimes not taking the steps to act when she needs to.

13. What did your muse want to be when they grew up? Did they have any childhood dreams, and have they achieved them? When Jack was a kid-kid, pre-Felicity, she wanted to do everything. She thought she'd live her life ranching Longhorns, defending her home from raiders or going out to scavenge and deal with threats, and settling down with a wife or spouse or more. She'd long since internalized polyamory as an option for herself. When she met Felicity all that honed into specifically marrying her, even if it was only her. She was smitten with her from the moment they met and had no real way to communicating it until she learned how to communicate better. Depending on the canon she may ultimately achieve something similar. Of course she doesn't get the opportunity to marry Felicity, that pretty much always ends in tragedy. But circumstances has lead her to starting her own ranch, caring for farm animals and becoming a home, even adopting stray kids and anyone who looks like they need a place to call home. She might have a hard time seeing herself as a parent, but she tries to do right by anyone that calls her place home anyway. Or she finds a different path, but still something that tries to make people's lives better for her presence in it. The one important thing is Jack isn't left alone. Romantic or otherwise her connections and love for the people around her is what she craves. And she seeks it out.

“Oh, come on,” Vikt huffs, though the smirk on his face breaks the feigned annoyance. “Isn’t this reserved for bored, horny teenagers?”

“What, you aren’t bored… or horny?”

“Ha. Ha.” He sneaks a glance to the driver seat of the Rayfield, greeted by that shit-eating grin that only means trouble. Man is… creative, he’ll give him that. Somehow always spicing up the stupidest fucking things. Quite a skill.

Who else would suggest a ‘game’ like this?

“Gotta admit, it would make this drive a bit more… eventful.”

“So it would.”

Kerry snickers. Maybe because he’s slowly coming up on a red light. As the car rolls to a stop, he leans back, the leather creaking as he shifts, and looks directly at him with what Vikt can only call bedroom eyes. His baby blues twinkle with mischief. “So… that a ‘yes, Ker, I’d love to’?”

And, with a gentle sigh, Vikt caves: “Yes, Ker, I’d love to.”

“Next light, it’s game on,” he purrs. A hand reaches to Vikt’s thigh, rubbing and squeezing idly while the drive continues.

“Pretty sure that’s cheating.”

“You should know I don’t play fair, pretty boy.”

He tries to bite it back, but the moan escapes anyway. And Kerry probably feels like he’s won this stupid game already when no, he definitely has not.

Vikt isn’t known to play fair, either.

They’re encroaching on the next red light, the first in a string of multiple. Good; time to play.

“Alright, reminder of the most important rule: For as long as the light lasts. No more, no less. Soon as it turns green, stop and go. Got it?”

“Loud and clear, darling,” Vikt confirms in a growl; he relishes the hard bob of Kerry’s throat, the slight shimmy in the seat and nibble of his lip.

As instructed, he waits until the Rayfield is completely stationary before he pounces. He has approximately thirty seconds—minimum—and he’s going to make each one of them count. Kerry’s lips, like always, are so soft, so warm, so welcoming as they part for him. Vikt hungrily swallows every airy groan, wraps an arm around Kerry’s shoulders just to bring him in closer. Fucking devours him. Hums with every taste of the smoke Kerry’d finished moments before, with the intoxicating heat bubbling in his chest as every motion is so eagerly and fiercely reciprocated.

And then a honk startles the senses back into them. They pull apart with a shared groan of protest, winded and lovestruck, both smirking as Kerry hastily regains his composure enough to at least drive. “Fuck…” he murmurs, and Vikt chuckles.

“And you said you weren’t horny…”

“Don’t recall saying I wasn’t.” Much like Kerry had done earlier, Vikt takes to caressing a leather-clad thigh, digging his nails in when he wants to provide a little jolt. The tightening, white-knuckled grip on the steering wheel is oh so satisfying. 

He nods his head towards the string of stoplights to come. “Too much for you to handle?”

Kerry glares at him while wearing a devilish smile that plumps his flushed cheeks. “Far from it. Do your worst, pretty boy; I’m just getting warmed up.”
