While we’re talking about Ulysses, because it’s that kind of night: we know he named himself after the Union general, not the mythical Greek hero, but did Caesar know that? Ulysses S. Grant was a Union general. Anyone as knowledgeable about history as Ulysses and Caesar must have known that the Union fought against slavery– the very foundation of the Legion.

I might be reading too much into things, but remember that Ulysses took his name before he found the Dam and learned of the NCR:

Long ago, I crossed the Colorado, the first among the Legion to see Hoover Dam in all its glory… an Old World wall, yet bridging two sides. And beyond it, a symbol of a two-headed Bear, an idea great enough to challenge Caesar himself.

So the speeches he gives about turning two flags into one couldn’t have been his original reason for choosing his name. And given what happened to Ulysses’ tribe… I can’t help seeing it as a quiet, covert act of rebellion.

i feel like ulysses is messier, but only by a smidge. i think they both keep things pretty tidy and clean

of course! they'd rub sunblock on each other's backs and swim around and be annoyingly in love, all cuddled up on the shore

13. Who stays up late? Who sleeps the most? Does the other have to force them to sleep/wake up?

ulysses stays up late, and sleeps the most. moz is up and alert the minute sunlight hits her face. she just lets ulysses sleep, but can't help herself from giving him kisses before she leaves the bed, which sometimes wakes him up

moz brings ideas that she thinks ulysses would like! and they both initiate more or less equally

7. Genital headcanons?

honestly i don't think about character's genitals, it's just a void down there until i have to draw it and even then most of it would be tastefully concealed :) btw. also. this reminds me of one time, apropos of nothing, i got maybe a dozen anon asks about ulysses having a "nice big dick" (anon's words) lmfao. what the hell was that

13. Who’s loud? Who’s quiet? Does one try to make the other louder/quieter? How?

neither are loud volume-wise, but ulysses is more vocal. he has the craziest dirty talk also. moz dirty talks in tagalog :)
