This week is special because I am going to do a brand series!

It is a brand I have been using since a long time now and there some products which I just can’t do without. With every launch of theirs, they bring in better products to the market and absolutely adore them!

I am talking about Kronokare!

Something about the brand

“Chronos” is regarded as the God of Time in Greek Mythology. Kronokare – a vision in cosmetics ahead of time.

All Kronokare products are Sulphate free, paraben free, mineral oil free and silicone free. Their formulations are created avoiding any harmful chemicals or harsh surfactants. They are enriched with widely sourced natural active ingredients like essential oils, botanical extracts and seed oils and always keen on better developing themselves.

They believe in cruelty free products and expect the same of their vendors. No animal testing and environmentally responsible are philosophies they live by. They reduce their carbon footprint by sourcing raw materials locally and using recyclable packaging. Even their labels are printed on recyclable material.

When you see a brand contributing so much in every possible way, one has just got to support them!

They have 4 different collections:

Kronaroma – A collection of Aromatherapy inspired toiletries. They are formulated with gentle ingredients and enriched with active natural ingredients. Range Includes – Caribbean Ginger, Provencal Lavender, Mediterranean Citrus.

  Voyage En Indes – A tribute to India, it’s focus is on the fascinating fragrances unique to its amazing regions. Range includes – Kashmiri Garden, Spices of Rajasthan, Bamboo of Assam, Forest of Bengal.

Let’s Face It – Their Face care range is enriched with botanical extracts, vitamins and nutritive oils and consist of non-comedogenic and totally non-irritant products suitable for a variety of skin types. Range includes – Flower Power Face Toner, Polish the Blemish Face Scrub, City Detox Face Wash, Bash the Gloss & Moist-urge Face Creams, Frizz the Kiss Cooling Explosion Lip Balm.

Kronospa – A range of 100% natural body and hair care products that are made with the purest oil blends. Range includes – Body oil, Hair Oil & Bath Salts.

The Product & My Experience

Throughout the week we will go through a range of their products and my experience and opinion on each of them. Today we begin with the most recent launch of theirs.

Kronokare Go A(Long) Way Growth Boosting Hair oil.

This magical potion is something which I have absolutely fallen in love with. From the first use itself, you can feel the difference in your hair.

It is quite a light, transparent oil, with the most amazing, relaxing scent of lavender. It’s the perfect before bed time, relaxant massaging oil. A little goes along way with this and a light massage before hitting the bed assures you a relaxing, sound and stress free sleep.

Ingredients:

Coconut Oil, Rosemary leaf Oil, Ylang Ylang Flower oil, Lavender Oil, Lime Oil, Thyme Oil & Vitamin E.

Packaging:

As all of their products, this comes packed in a recyclable PET bottle. The only disappointing thing about this product is the fact that it is a little difficult to control dispensing as it comes with a flip top cap. Would have definitely preferred a pump dispenser.

It is available in a 100ml & 30ml bottle and ₹595 & ₹225 respectively.

Pro’s:

All Natural

Light on the hair

Smells heavenly

Extremely destressing

Strengthens and smoothens the hair, with effects visible post the first use

Cons:

Would have preferred a pump bottle to make dispensing easy.

Am surely going to repurchase this product as I feel the difference it is making to my hair. It feels thicker and stronger, definitely much smoother and the Lavender scent has really helped me get a good night’s sleep!

This is a 9.8/10 product and have made this one of my essentials.

The Fab Bag is always coming up with these innovative themes and funky names for them. They usually curate their bags according to the theme of the month and very often have one product of choice.

This month received “The Colour Drama” July Fab Bag, but I think, for a first in a long time, this bag kinda let me down in terms of the products relating to the theme.

The bag is a nice pop of a pinkish-peachy colour, very bright and absolutely in tune with the Colour Drama theme. It has a cute wristlet attachment so can be easily carried around. so no complaints with the bag.

The products I got this month are:

Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick – Viola

Kronokare Hydrate The Hair Shampoo

Just Herbs Herb Enriched Skin Tint

Tvakh Fruit Enzyme Alcohol Free Toner

This month too, the products were few and unfortunately just didn’t go with the theme. Only one product went with the theme and that was the star product of the bag and the product of choice the Sugar Lipstick.

Let’s look at them a little more in detail.

Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick – Viola

We received the usual mailer from Fab Bag to choose one product and as expected it was amongst the new Sugar launches.

Sugar recently launched few more shades in the matte as hell range and I was awaiting Fab Bag to include them. They also had a choice amongst the newly launched Sugar liquid lipstick. Having used and loved the Matte as hell Crayon in the past, I didn’t waste time in opting for their latest mauvish-nude shade. This was the one product I was looking forward to since I absolutely loved the colour. As the standard goes, along with the crayon, I received the Sugar Lip Crayon sharpner as well.

Price : ₹799 for a crayon of 2.8gm

Kronokare Hydrate The Hair Shampoo

I am absolutely loving Kronokare products and am looking to do a detailed review on some of their products shortly. Received this sample shampoo bottle of the newly launched Hydrate the Hair range. With the awesome scent of Mediterranean Citrus, I am sure I am going to absolutely love this one. The scent itself is sooooo refreshing, it is the perfect wake me up I need in the morning.

Price : ₹165 for 55ml

Just Herbs Herb Enriched Skin Tint

Just Herbs as a brand is known for it’s natural, ayurvedic based products and this, I think, is a relatively recent addition to their line. It’s a skin tint, like a concealer but the wow factor about this is that it is a herbal concoction! Claims to give medium coverage but it also provides broad spectrum sun protection which is just another tick in the box for this product.

When I initially swatched it, as you can see, the colour does seem extremely light for me, but on blending it quite settled down. Can be used as a highlighter concealer. Surprisingly this tint, comes in only one shade to suit all, and the prime purpose is to blur imperfections, kinda giving that photo-finish look. I think this would work really well with a complete foundation look, and not if one is looking to just use a basic conceal and powder finish.

Price : ₹385 for a 15gm

Tvakh Fruit Enzyme Alcohol Free Toner

Tvakh is another brand that has quite intrigued me, with their natural products. This tiny bottle of goodness contains no parabens, no sulphates, no GMO, phthalates, no petroleum oils and most importantly, NO ALCOHOL. That means this toner is not gonna dry your skin out.  A fruit enzyme based toner, this is curated using natural fruit extracts containg natural AHA & BHA that helps to cleanse, tone and exfoliate the skin while minimizing pores. I am super keen to try this out and will keep you updated on how it worked out.

Price : ₹160 for 50ml

So that’s it for this month’s Fab Bag products, and overall I would suggest a buy only if you are keen to try out the Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick, as the other products are all sample sizes.
