I just finished watching MDZS (thanks to you), but I will rewatch ep 15 once the English subs are out. Who's your favorite character? 😄

I still haven’t had the chance to watch Episode 15 yet! So you’ve already surpassed me! I think I’m going to read the novel/manhua though. The first 2 episodes of the anime hooked me enough that I knew I wanted to dive in fully. 

Wei Ying is definitely my favorite character. He’s so skilled & I love watching his antics. Also, seeing what led to him becoming Yiling Laozu was so fascinating despite how it came to be. 

Who are you enjoying the most so far? Which episode was your favorite? Are you going to read the novel too?

What if, instead of LWJ, little A-Yuan was picked up by a fugitive who used to be a high-ranking Wen sect official? Then, when WWX is back as MXY, the Wen sect is on the rise again and led by A-Yuan (as he is the last living blood descendant of the Wens)? Will WWX remember him? [Torn between two scenarios where either the new Wens are good or fueled by revenge haha]

Given that in this case, A-Yuan didn’t undergo the experience of the Siege of Burial Mounds, then WWX has little to no reason to think that he’s dead - soooo he might remember him. Let’s go with a middle scenario wherein they’re not really fueled by revenge but their rise in power serves as threat and reminder so the issue is that the 4 sects have to come to an agreement with the new Wen clan. But the thing is there’s just a lot of hostilities between them so there are frigid relationships. Then, WWX comes back~ And ooohhhh, A-Yuan definitely remembers Brother Poor. Let’s make it so that WWX can act as the go-between as the only person the new Wen sect trusts (esp since his story of saving the old and the weak is a legend among them).

- remember when i said that the lxc and jyl pair would be the most polite and calmest pair?? this pair can also compete for that title lol

- i just imagine everything being gentle with these two and all sincere smiles and poise is forever admired 

- they’re both in white and always put together AND OK YOU KNOW THOSE COUPLES WHERE THE BOTH OF THEM ARE JUST SO PERF??? and you kinda understand why they’re together bc perfection deserves perfection?? YEAH IT’S THEM

How about Jiang Cheng x MianMian? She might not tick all of JC's requirements, but I HC that JC needs a strong woman to match his fiery personality (๑•̀ᄇ•́)و ✧

Okay, ngl I really reaaaalllyyyyy want JC to have his own happiness which may be in the form of a companion/spouse BUT the thing is I see his character as someone who wouldn’t really open up or thaw his personality unless the person was family. Whelp sorry if all my JC posts pretty much talks about how family is his most important thing but I actually really believed that and well his family technically is “gone”. His parents died in CHAPTER 58 and EPISODE 11 the Lotus Pier siege. JYL died shortly before the Burial Mounds siege. WWX died for 13 years and while yes, he did come back - Lotus Pier (and JC) wasn’t his home anymore; it was with LWJ and the Cloud Recesses. Jin Ling may be family but it’s not the same because he didn’t grow up with his uncle so his level of understanding of JC is also different.

BUT OKAY SINCE I NEED JC HAPPY, let’s all have our headcanon with his happiness hahahaha
