2014 Season Announcement
While KMSA Garage (union of KrowMotors/affiliates and Scrape Ape Photoraphy) will unfortunately not be making it to Atlanta this year for Formula Drift (Unless someone decides to spot me a phat roll of dollas, yo), we have plans to attend as many local events as we possibly can (That's North East Ohio, for those that aren't familiar with us!). A full schedule of events at which we'll make appearances will be posted in the first full week of April, and as new events tend to pop up all the time, I'm sure it will be updated frequently. I'll be sure to have a direct link to that on our Tumblr, which, by the way, is getting overhauled thanks to the new name. That means the old KrowMotors stickers gotta go! More info on that a little later as well.
As for a few garage updates.
The KM86 is almost completely torn down, and will soon be stripped of paint and put into primer before it is sent to Cody Grimm of "Tater Drift" for roll cage, chassis reinforcement and bash bars. Can't say when that will happen, but I will keep you updated.
Last season's scrap has been hauled out today for a total of $115.49. Sweet. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position right now to use that on car parts.
Fortunately though, I'm employed now. Buy knives from me?
The "Avalanche" Legacy project has been handed off to another member of the garage for $350. I would continue to handle it, but I cannot afford another project on my hands, as the three are more than enough.
And of course, because this is a photography blog as well as a direct source to all things KMSA/KrowMotors, As soon as it hits 70, and looks like no chances of anything putting salt back on the cars (at least for a day, it's Ohio, people, come on . . . ) we will be having a spring photoshoot.
And on the topic of K. Photography; if you are local to North East Ohio, do not be afraid to get in touch with me. Send me a couple shots of your car (cell phone shots are more than enough, hell, I'll take polaroids if you want to send them) to me, and if I feel it's worth the trip, I will be selecting a couple of people to have a FULL FEATURE on this season! If you are featured, you will be able to get the full resolution edited and unedited shots of your ride for absolutely nothing. If I decide not to do a full feature (I have to be selective, this is somewhat like a contest, after all), It'll be $2.00 per photo in raw format. If you are okay with the watermarked version (watermarks will be updated this season to prevent theft, I've had a couple cases) those will remain on our facebook page, as well as YourWhip.com (which you should check out, we need to make sure this page has some quality contributors!) and, of course, here. But remember, I'll be keeping those relatively low res. Good camera gear does NOT pay for itself (literally).
