pretty sure i asked this before but would anyone here care to see a sideblog where i put my poetry and cryptic nonsense of the sort?

i feel like jet is often such a painfully underutilized character in zutara fics, especially in AUs. it's fun to have a villain, fun to have The Bad Ex-Boyfriend (and sometimes it's the shared ex-boyfriend lmao), but i do think it'd be nice to see something different for once.

personally, i think jet is an interesting character, and his fate in canon really irks me. just think it's definitely a choice to punish a teenage boy more than they punished ozai at the end of the series.

people sometimes view jet's off-screen death as a way to "up the stakes" in the series, a way to make things darker and more serious. but i don't really think it was necessary, and it was an awful way to wrap up his character arc. there's so much wasted potential here, and it just sucks. (and unfortunately atla is a show that's RIFE with wasted potential.)

anyway, all of that is to say that i will be having a lot of fun with jet's inclusion in my zk fic :)

I keep rewatching sonic prime and everytime I'm just like wow, this is a great interpretation of shadow. Hes grumpy, but with reason. He clearly cares about his home and at least Rouge from when he looks at her echo. And I'm just... I'm so happy they're giving him justice in media. Like, he thinks sonic is too trusting and he's warned him. He does trust sonic enough to do what he can't, regardless of if shadow believes he's the responsible/correct choice to do this. Ughhhh I love it soooooo <3

the horrific ordeal of getting three pages into a five page comic for funsies and then realizing that your artistic skills are about to be tested like never before because you never draw characters looking up or from the back or (worse beyond measure) kissing someone

why can't this entire scene just be characters facing slightly left or right and barely moving, that would be so much easier >:(

also before anyone asks, yes, it's more gay space beans, leave me and my mogus hyperfixations alone
