start trusting yourself.
For the love of anything nice in this world, trust yourself. This is a bit of a part 2 to my “let go of everything” post.
I can’t lie, for this one goal of mine, I’ve been trusting but that little voice in the back of my head burned into my skull - “but what if? They’ve already said no, you can’t get that, you NEED to wait for years for this.” technically, if i REALLY look at reason, logic, yeah i do need to “wait” to “struggle” all over again. It wasn’t even everything i wanted to manifest, just this ONE particular manifestation (if ykyk), it was this one thing that i’ve wanted for SO long. Nights had gone into this, researching the best of the best, making myself stand out for this in every way i could so that i could make up for the things i couldn’t control. You get the drill, you work so hard on some of those life goals that you just think “do or die.” be it a career, an education, more money, an sp, a better family life, moving to a new country. All those “bigger” goals that you think you need to jump a huge fence to get to.
The goals that you’ve had for your whole life, you saw yourself there, worked hard to get there, days and nights probably, maybe even YEARS of your life to see some kind of movement, some kind of advancement that you trusted would bring you to success. You think of a new technique, a new assumption, a new decision, a new anything. You try and try your hardest, you genuinely believe, you cry your heart out, do it all. So why? Why hasn’t anything reflected? Why are setbacks occurring?
I assumed I had it, I really did! so why did it not reflect? Was all this work for nothing? It brought you somewhere, did it not? It made you realize your true power! That you’re able to change, so why didn’t it get pushed out? Why is there still this nagging feeling in your chest that prevents you from actually feeling trust? It’s because you’re not trusting yourself. Seriously, there’s still reason in you. If it weren’t for @jay telling me and a few friends that “reasoning holds us back, a lot.” i wouldn’t be making this post.
Thing is, you need to break the cycle. You do this everyday, actually. You trust yourself blindly, put blind faith into others, so why is that something you can’t do for yourself? It’s because you’re thinking that you need to do something to get what you want. All you need to manifest is knowing that you’re able to change your assumptions and KEEP those assumptions via persistence, regularly going back to said assumption WHEN NEEDED. We’re so obsessed with the past, time, our failures of now or the future, and circumstances that we haven’t internalized that our assumptions are our TRUE reality. Heck, get rid of the terminology of the whole “inner man” “outer man” shtick, it’s messy and confusing for some. Your ASSUMPTIONS are your only true reality. We give our reasoning/logic/limiting beliefs (aka quibbles, remember abdullah here again with neville) because of the sense of security and safety, the rationality. (full credit to @piercedblunt here bc she wrote this to me and my friends and she deserves sm love ilysm bby <3) That sigh of relief in a way, that there’s a rational way to look at it. We also sorta dismiss what we’re assuming (new assumptions) as fake (which hint hint, IS JUST ANOTHER ASSUMPTION KJGNREJRNSGJR).
Think about it, if it weren't for Neville trusting himself, how did he get to Barbados? How did Abdullah find such confidence within himself to be able to drink so much, eat a bunch of ice cream afterwards and still claim that it couldn't do a thing to him? How did you get through your past struggles? Your past? NOTHING is done without trust! An assumption is still trust, it's you trusting yourself. Make it simple.
“we're not persisting to make something happen, we persist because we KNOW it's already true and it has no choice but to refelct into the 3d” - @piercedblunt

Think about your experiences in life. Whenever you cook or do chores of any kind, you trust yourself that you’ll finish it, be amazed by your cooking/cleaning skills. When you’re cleaning your room, you TRUST that your room will be clean, you assumed it! You assumed you’ll clean your room, you do it and it ends up as a clean room. You’re planning on cooking penne alfredo tonight, you TRUST that you’re able to cook it (whether it’s with or without a cookbook/recipe online). Wouldn’t you say you’re taking a leap of faith with those two? Why aren’t you? You’re still blindly faithful to your assumption that your cooking will be good, or that your room will be clean when you clean it, so why can’t you do the same for yourself? For your desires/goals? When you actually take that leap of faith, it can feel scary, I can’t blame you! You’re moving from one comfort zone, to another, it’s uncomfortable. You assume something, but reason/quibbles (self-doubt, fear, limiting beliefs, time, circumstances, etc) are just holding you back from trusting yourself. Be free. Forgive. Start trusting yourself.
With love,

authors note: i will say here as well the cooking and cleaning example came as a random example. Apply it to anything else, such as brushing your teeth, doing your homework, going out to work, anything! Now, this doesn’t mean that if your mental health isn’t well that it equals to reasoning or that because you’re struggling mentally that you’re not worthy of your desires, if anything, that just means you’re taking care of yourself, this vessel. Pls take care of yourself if you’re not in the best spot mentally, your mental well-being is always going to be more important than desires you have (plus, your desires don’t magically vanish when you’re having off days mentally, things normally don’t in your world so why would the same happen to your desires?). This isn’t meant to be ableist or insensitive in any way either, so please do not take it as such, those weren’t my intentions with those examples.
