How often do Droog and Aradia talk? Was he concerned when she changed drastically?
They don’t talk much at all. He was a very distant father to her growing up, they were almost like strangers living in the same house. He’s not a big talker in general, or an affectionate guy. He was worried when she started changing, but he didn’t know what to do, and was dealing with rammoms death himself, so he just hoped that it was a coping mechanism.
They don’t really talk about the death until a long time later, but he tries to do little things afterwards to reach out, like bring her tea in her room, ask her about her day, etc. Understandably by that point she’s not very receptive. They spend time together occasionally, but it’s mostly spent in scilence watching a movie, or playing pool.
