What’s crazy to me is that we still can’t accept that not everyone has to like the same shit. I agree with you that some of the most popular fics are not my cup of tea either, hell I don’t like most popular wlw ships or shows. and you know what that’s fine. If you love a fic who cares what anyone else thinks. Same thing with a ship or show. But no people can’t accept it and make it their personality to like xyz so when you say you don’t like xyz they get offended and must attack or invalidate you. It’s honestly exhausting.

I like a ton of shit that other people don’t like and that’s fine. I just don’t make my personality revolve around what I like and that’s where people start to blur lines and when they take shit personally if you don’t like it. Like yes, there are stuff that is objectively garbage and should be said but I like stuff that’s garbage too...but I admit it is. I don’t try to make it, the cast, the artist, whatever seem like the new coming of jesus. For example, I will fully admit that I love Kiernan Shipka. I even go as far as to say she’s one of my favorite actresses BUT Kiernan is not strong in everything. Kiernan has some REALLY weak performances but on the things she’s good she’s fantastic. I watched Sabrina because of Kiernan and she was like “eh” in it at best but I still binged the shit out of the show and it was a good time to watch but the show is trash. It just  is. I love it and I love her but neither are objectively phenomenal. AND ADMITTING THAT IS OKAY. My arms aren’t going to fall off if I own up to that. If more people approached fandom that way we’d been in a better place.

I saw "The silence", there's content for cfau. Kiernan has 2 or 3 emotional scenes, image her crying because of Jake. 😭

I did see it too. Talk about a bad movie lol. SO bad. But yes...tons of CFAU content. My mind was exploding with scenes I could apply a ton of the shots to. I love it when content feed CFAU headcanons.

Have you seen the trailer for Nana's new movie?

I DID!!!! I watched it this morning and I’m so stoked for new Kiernan content that isn’t Sabrina. She’s one of my favorite actresses and she’s the only reason I watch that mess of a show (that I for some reason I enjoy despite the fact that it’s awful lol) so I’m glad to be able to sit down and watch her in something that feels more suited for her acting strengths. I also think it’s funny that Miranda Otto plays her mom her and her aunt in Sabrina. Miranda as her mom is an interesting casting choice.

The other reason I’m excited for the movie is that I’ve been trying to cut a trailer for CFAU for MONTHS and she was one of the people I didn’t have enough footage of. I had The Blackcoat’s Daughter but it just...wasn’t enough and I already saw stuff in the trailer that I could potentially use so I’m curious to see what I can actually pull it from it. I hit a wall in the editing and haven’t touched it since I got frustrated with it so maybe this will be what gives me a kick in the pants again.

I’m watching Sabrina with Kiernan on Netflix and it’s so hard not to think of her as Nana!

What do you mean she’s not Nana? Does not compute. Sabrina is just CFAU!Witch AU haha. No??? That sounds fake. The entire time I’m going to be like “Do your mothers know you’re doing that? --- Wila is going to kill you? --- Where did you leave your sisters? --- Ohhhh...Costia is going to kick their ass if they keep being mean to you!”

Lol, but for real. Watching that show is going to be so confusing because I’ve literally seen her in one (1) thing before and it’s The Blackcoat’s Daughter. The movie is not great but there was something about her that I knew was fucking special and that given the right role she would shine so I’ve had that itch to work with her since like 2015. She’s the only person I’ve ever only seen as Anya so it’s going ot be a trip for sure. Also, Michelle Gomez is and will forever only be one thing and that is Missy. I don’t care who she’s playing in this show. It will also be just Missy in disguise. My brain can not handle either of these things.
