The Ghost Zone after the fight was looking at the both of them like "okay who do i make king now, they both participated in defeating him,,,," promptly saw the neon sign above their heads that read "Please Do Not Separate" and went "ah okay. TWO princes" and then watched as Jason and Danny decided to split custody of the ring of rage and crown of fire upon receiving it.
This makes Jason having no recollection of his time in the Zone like 10x funnier to me. After Jason and Danny reunite, Danny promptly slips the ring of rage off Jason's finger and plops the crown onto his head and goes "here your turn"
