It was roughly about lunch time when everyone stopped with pre-recording and headed over towards to food court for lunch, Siyeon was there mostly to support and cheer for I.O.I, since she didn’t really have much schedules that day. The food court was filled to the brim with idols and staff alike, all making sure to get tucked into delicious food before returning to their schedules afterwards. Honestly, it came as bit of a shock for Siyeon really, as the elder female approached her, questioning if she was able to sit there or not, of course she was going to say yes, it would be rude to not offer a seat to someone and also, when would she ever get a chance to sit next to her sunbae during lunch again. “Yes, yes! of course.” Siyeon moved her bag from the seat next to her before placing it on the ground and moving her chair slightly so there would be more room for the elder to sit.
By the time she reached the food court it was already full of both idols and staff, all taking a break to fill their stomachs before they'd have to dive back into their schedules. She saw a lot of familiar faces, some she actually talked to and was friends and some she just knew by following music shows, news in general. The table her hoobaes, five charming girls from Red Velvet were sitting at was already occupied and she stubbornly denied when the girls offered they'd squeeze, it was already a tight fit to begin with and to be relaxed and have their space was what they needed, not squeeze before returning to their recordings. With a short chat and well wishes behind her, Soojung proceeded further until a empty spot caught was caught with the corners of her eyes. Approaching, she recognized the female sitting there, it was hard not to when she too wasn't much different than the whole nation and followed the show the female took part it.
Her initial question if she could sit there was answered positively by the younger female who made the effort to move her bag from the seat. ''Thank you--'' Her words trailed off, somewhere in the back of her mind she still remembered the youngers name, though as she was unsure she first made the effort to sit down. ''Siyeon?'' She questioned, her tone of voice giving away that she was unsure if she got the name right, hence her next set of action. ''Please tell me I didn't get your name wrong.'' Reaching up she pushed her hair more out of habit than anything else, an almost shy smile on her face as she waited for an answer from the younger, hopefully positive one because she didn't want to offend the younger by calling her by a different name than her own.
