So it's been a busy few weeks! June 11 was Warbirds over the West! The aircenter tug couldn't move the bomber, so we ended up moving the B-25 with the half track, which was quite entertaining, Kenny came in his PT-22, and Ace Noodleman directed traffic with, you guessed it, pool noodles. We take ourselves /very/ seriously at the Salem airport, in case you didn't notice
I did it!
I finally got my private pilots license! Took a little over 2 years, and a lot of hard work! I couldn’t have done it without my support system at the Salem airport, and of course my sister @cuttletoon! Next time you’re here we will fly to Independence for lunch! Next step is to get my tail wheel endorsement, and hopefully (fingers crossed) get some biplane time this summer!
