So I finally updated my steam copy and I have to say, 1.1 feels like a big step backwards from a UI standpoint.

The Navball is way to fucking huge if you’re playing on any screen that’s not enormous and there’s no way to move it. The vessel indicators on the map screen look like something from the really old days, and the VAB icons look way worse.

Overall, I’m not very impressed with this update.

I suspect the massive prerelease for KSP 1.1 is a response to the whining from modders after 1.0.5. Giving them a few weeks to mess around and give feedback before the final build is probably a good idea when there's this much internal overhaul.
