"You look so happy."
If he just changes this chord…no. If he holds out the wholenote for a little longer…no. He sets down his guitar.Horrible. Completely and utterly horrible. Nothing’s going to work. He sits onhis bed, in the room that he shares with two other people, alone. Yet the eyes ofthousands watching him sends shivers down his spine, all the way to hisfingertips. Imagine if he played that garbage in front of them. They’d laugh, wouldn’t they? Talk about how he’s trashand doesn’t deserve to be in EXO. Again.
Okay. That’s easy to fix. Itjust has to be perfect. So that instead of laughing, they’d all clap for him, and say that he’samazing, because he worked his hardest and did his best. He’s not going toaccept anything less than 110%. He never does. Never again.
He’ll start with getting a drink from the kitchen. Oh, it’sthat late already? Nevertheless, he sees a familiar figure sitting on the couch, tense about something. He grabs twobottles from the refrigerator before padding over to his hyung, and sets downthe drink on his lap.
“You should rest, hyung. You look so tired.” He offers a smile andso shows the faintest hint of a dimple. The other rubs his face, before lookingup at the man with a quizzical expression.
“You look so happy.”
Wide eyes blink, before chortling. “Of course, hyung! I’m always happy!” A large hand goes torest on the elder’s shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze. “Ihave a lot of happiness inside me so that I can give it to you all whenever youneed it.” He grins until the other returns the expression, making hisgrin even wider than before. “I’m going to go back to my room ifyou need anything. Take it easy, okay?” A nod dismisses him to his room, wherehe quietly shuffles off to. He rubs his eyes, beforeexhaling heavily, and closes the door behind him. Click.
