The KTMF last night was a blast, as usual. I enjoyed just about every performance, even the opera singers. Unfortunately, even though I loved seeing them, the Suju performance was kind of disappointing. First of all, Heechul wasn’t there (it’s understandable that he didn’t come though) and secondly, their sound was kind of muffled and their voices seemed to get lost (maybe it was just the location of my seat that made the sound bad, I don’t know. The other artists sounded fine). They were full of energy though, and I was excited to see them. Youngchul (from Knowing Bros) was one of the hosts and omg he was hilarious! Don’t let anyone fool you, that guy is funny! My favorite trot singer, Tae Jin Ah was fantastic as usual, and Kim Bum-Soo had the crowd in the palm of his hand (he gives me the chills). He is one of my favorite Korean vocalists outside of kpop and is truly one of their nation’s treasures. DJ DOC and 6band were so fun, energetic and know how to entertain a crowd. They’re both excellent groups that I highly recommend. But let me tell you, Taemin stole the show hands down. I’ve seen Shinee live many times, but seeing him command a stage by himself was something else. I thought I was going to turn inside out, haha. He really does have a lot of power on stage, on top of being an absolutely spectacular performer. See him if you ever get the chance! I only took one short video of Kim Bum-Soo and one crappy pic of Suju, so I don’t really have anything of my own to share.
