Megacopta cribraria, Kudzu Bug
a little kudzu bug! there’s a bunch of em out right now. they’re kinda cute, but they’re invasive ):
i’m back :3
the kudzu bug is my favorite he looks like a marble💞
The kudzu bug is very good! But I love the robber fly the most :)
@potatoonwheels submitted: So I found this little guy on a fence during band camp this week, and I wanted to know what he was. I don't know if the pictures are good enough for you to identify, but I thought it was worth a shot. Found in Georgia.
Sure, it’s a kudzu bug! Not native but still very cute :)
@fae-ble submitted: Met some cool looking guys at my mom's and our place. Do you happen to know what they are? I live in Southeast TN :)
I do! It's a pandorus sphinx moth and a kudzu bug. Lovely friends, but the kudzu bug is invasive :(
@the-last-standing submitted: Found in northwest Louisiana- look like a Kudzu bug to you? I released it before doing my research to ID because I was at work…
Yes unfortunately that is exactly what it looks like! A criminal has escaped...
