It's Only When I Hit The Ground || Kugene

It was just one of those days. And even though she was Kim Possible, she still had them like everyone else. Not only had she not slept in a day or two (or more than that?), but she was anxious. Kim kept her anxiety under wraps, not wanting to let anyone know about it, but of course Flynn did. Eugene knew more about her than she liked but she accepted it. 

But today, when she really needed her best friend Ron and he wasn't there...it hit her.This was a fact that started to make her increasingly more saddened but she had to be thankful that Eugene was there. He always seemed to be. "Thank you." She whispered to him, then looked up giving him an appreciative smile.

Waking Up || Flynn & Kim (Kugene)

Kim woke up, completely forgetting where she was. Part of the reason she had completely forgotten was because she hadn't slept so well in such a long time. Well, she hadn't really even slept in a while, but when she did she had nightmares. Kim didn't have any nightmares, it was just nothingness. A good nothingness though, a peaceful one. The more she woke up, the more she became aware of her surroundings. Her arms felt cramped because she felt them holding onto another body-Eugene. That's right, she had been crying a few hours (what time was it?) before. Everything started to come back to her, and even if she did feel exhausted, she felt a little better. 

The redhead went to rub her eyes, absentmindedly thinking how much of a mess she probably looked (not really caring at this point) and continued to become more and more aware of everything.

Stand By Me || Kim & Flynn (Kugene)

It had been a really tiring and depressing weekend. It was the day after her dad's funeral and it was all technically over. Kim still had nightmares but now she knew her dad was...at peace. Even though Kim was now at this point walking around school, doing what she usually did with a little less luster, she was just going through the motions. After the letter she wrote to Eugene, something in her changed a little. Kim felt herself actually open to him. Depend on him, truly. It only scared her slightly but she knew she needed him, and Kim finally felt ok with that. With the idea that she really needed someone and couldn't do it all alone. 

Being around Eugene already made her feel better, and she grabbed his hand as they headed for the Room of Requirement. "Imagine if my letters get sappier, what country will I be then?" Kim asked him in a slight teasing tone.

Dearest Kimmy, 

First of all, wow. Just wow. I didn't think you had the sap in you. I was pretty sure only Canada had that much sap. You know, from the maple trees. That was supposed to be funny, but I'm not funny on paper. So... now for the serious. 

So, if you need someone to cry on, come to me. You need only come to me. I will always be there for you and I will always be willing to just sit with you while you cry. I love you Kimmy, and that isn’t going to change just because you are having a bad time. I can kiss away all the pain you want or need me to.

So… I have a question. Would you like to go to the room of requirement with me? I ask because I know you wouldn’t like everyone to see you cry, and it seems to be our place. So… do you want to? You don’t have to owl back, just find me.

Dear Eugene,

I'm convinced that I'm also crazy, I didn't realize you could fall in love with someone after what? 10 days? Yeah, definitely crazy. Definitely scared too. 

But I'm not sure if you understand why I think I'm so crazy. I grew up around doctors and scientists. Everyone in my family are Ravenclaws. All of them. I feel almost programmed to think that this doesn't make any sense. If I told my mom that after what ten days, I'm in love with someone, she'd tell me I need to reevaluate and truly think this through. But see, that's literally what I've been doing the whole time. And I've come to the conclusion that I am in love with you.

This is also a big deal for me because I usually don't tell people I love them. I mean, it's easier to write it out, but it's hard to actually look them in the face and tell them how I feel. Partly because I feel like my feelings aren't that relevant, but just because it's hard. I let people know they're important, but even my family doesn't hear me say, 'I love you' to them often. But with you, I really want to tell you. But I can't. Especially in this body. 

So, here's the best I can do for now. But I don't think it would be fair to give you the letter in this body, so I'll wait. Like you said you'll wait for me when I'm away. Though, this isn't exactly the same but you get the idea.

Well, I can't wait to tell you in person.

All I Have Is Memories || Kim & Flynn

Kim had always been excellent in the area of memory charms, potions, etc. She didn't really know where it came from, maybe from the fact that she wished she could take people's pain away, but she also knew how dangerous it was to tamper with the mind. Flynn had asked her to help him, and of course she would. Kim, at this point, would probably do mostly anything for him if he asked. The redhead was very scared though. Relieving memories, trauma, was painful, and though she never had to experience it for herself, she was scared for him. Kim knew Eugene would be ok, in the end, he wanted to do this, but it would still hurt him. The Gryffindor girl willed herself to be strong and brave, especially for him, as she took the Memory potion from the Potions classroom and brought it back to him. Kim looked down at the potion then back up to him and cautiously said, "We need to go somewhere private and probably more comfortable for you to be in."

This was a precaution just in case things got particularly bad.
