Kullulu
Origin: Mesopotamia
Classification: merfolk, Tiamatkin
One of the the eleven offspring of Tiamat Kullulu is a monstrous bearded merman. Kullulu beyond being one of Tiamats monstrous offspring is also allied with other Mesopotamian merfolk the term for mermaids in ancient Mesopotamia is kulitu.
Field Work: Now Tiamats children thus far have been potentially very dangerous and I think that applies to all of them. so what can Kullulu do? think back to my earlier entry on the ordinary mermaids and how they are said to drown people sink ships, lure sailor into crashing against rocks, and the one I think is most interesting call forth storms.
it can be assumed that all variations of Merfolk share these abilities and if you will recall two of Kullulu's sibling- Ugallu and Umu Dabrutu are living storm elementals so in theory if Kullulu came into conflict with say a god, monster, or human army he could call in a family reunion to destroy his enemies.
