ドイツのドレスデン新市街の芸術村「クンストホーフ・パッサージュ」Dresden Kunsthofpassage

ノイシュタット（新市街）のなかでもミックスカルチャー色が強いオイセレ・ノイシュタット地区は、アーティストたちが運営する「クンストホーフ・パッサージユ Kunsthofpassage 」があって、歴史保存建造物のアパートや中庭自体がアートしている「芸術村」のような一角。

「変化の中庭」では真っ青な壁一面にブリキの雨どいが張り巡らされて・・・よく見るとこの雨どいは楽器のようなフォルムになっているので、定期的に水が流れて実際に水が伝わって落ちてくる様子を見ることができるそうです。

こいういう場所があると、心に余裕が生まれるのでいいですよね。

Bienvenidos al lado moderno de #dresden. Aquí las calles están llenas de bares y restaurantes, pero lo más extraño son estos departamentos muy coloridos y construidos de manera moderna! Si visitas Dresden, no solo tienes una visita obligada en el casco histórico que fue totalmente destruido en la 2da guerra mundial y, posteriormente, reconstruido de manera idéntica a como era antes. También debes conocer estos edificios hermosos y comer algo por ahí! #kunsthofpassage #dresden #germany #elatlasjuntos

A Weekend in Dresden

Last weekend we took the bus just two hours across the border to Dresden, Germany.  Dresden is literally a city that rose from the ashes after being bombed to the ground during World War II.  Today, it is rebuilt and flourishing.  We both got to practice a little bit of German, had some delicious hot chocolate at Kurfürstenschänke, and walked from the very cool student district, Kunsthofpassage, to the Elbe River.  

We saw most of the key sites like the Dresden Castle, the Panometer, and the Frauenkirche.  And then we passed most of the afternoon at the Albertinum, a beautiful, modern art museum with a Van Gogh, Picasso, and a few other very cool exhibits - “from the Romantic period to the present day.”  We had an amazing meal at Kastenmeiers which features a very cool atmosphere and is perfect for pescatarians.  It was a great little getaway, but don’t forget like we did that basically everything is closed in Germany on Sundays!
