Last year, we fell for a deeply engrossing, genre defying anthem named High from Los Angeles’ deathbyromy that featured alt hip hop sensation Yung Bans. We have a soft spot for deathbyromy’s raspy emotive vocals, and the dark ominous electronica and twisted pop that exudes from High really did leave us with a long natural buzz. We expand and build on that “high” with a wicked remix of the track by French producer Coopex and Lithuania’s kuoga.. High gets a splintered trap and thundering bass transformation that takes full advantage of the original’s brooding atmosphere. At this rate, we’re never going to come down from our exhilarating buzz.
