Projecting himself outside of his home has been a struggle, never did he think that when waking he’d spend so much time on the surface. Maybe he needs a protector of his hoard so he could venture out without fearing the safety of the library.
“Sprout, Ishstolphel.”
The words hit his ears where he stands at the tip of a spire that centers the library. When he turns, Acutulus finds a lone figure down at the base of the Library entrance, just at the large, deep crevasse that separates the hoard from the entrance to the cavern.
A drawn sword, piercing red eyes and an aura of challenge falls upon the normally calm and serene space just as a filed of light green magic coats the ground, clashing with the blue light given off by the natural grown crystals that dominate the rocky walls that surround the library.
Unfortunately for Acutulus, the Hibiki family member shares her cousin’s urge for battle almost like an inherited curse upon them.
The dragon meets the challenge with his own as a dominating force causes the ground to shiver and groan like a contained earthquake, a reminder that she is in his domaine.
“Very well, human.”
