You can argue Chrome's obsession is on another level but Ekusu clearly has him in high regard as well.

You can even argue it's onesided but i firmly believe that the only reason it might be so is because Ekusu is too dense to put a name to his own feelings.

He is very clearly not normal about Chrome either. You can see it so well through the series, the flashbacks, subtle smiles or comments regarding Chrome, the soft request to leave Chrome be when he told Bird and Multi he is Kamen Y... to not get in between them... in their final battle with that fuckass face of euphoria, telling Chrome how much he loves this, how it's the best feeling ever, how excited he is to finally face him.

It's even more so afterwards when he becomes so lethargic after winning against Chrome. There is no one stronger than him out there in Ekusu's mind so what's the point? Chrome is his final destination. He stopped aiming higher the moment he beat him because he put Chrome on a pedestal. Clearly there is no one stronger out there to face.

Ekusu doesn't function like a normal person, he's obsessed with Chrome in his own way, it's just way more subtle because we never get to see his inner thoughts. He'd hate it if Chrome's attention got taken by someone else in his stead. Like, Chrome is HIS 'rival' wdym he no longer wants to seek Ekusu out? Ekusu has always liked his attention and wanted more of it and you can't believe it was just about the blading because if that were the case, he would be okay with facing ANY strong opponent and wouldn't decline Tenka's offer to fight other strong bladers... again, he doesnt believe anyone could be stronger than Chrome but why does that matter when Ekusu claims he blades for fun? And it's very simple, he has the most fun doing it with Chrome. So if Chrome made his move on him I'm inclined to believe Ekusu would've reciprocated.

Chrome growling at Ekusu and biting the shit out of him, leaving marks all over.... just being so angry it turns up his possessiveness to 1000 and he HAS to make Ekusu feel him on every centimeter of his skin, mauling his neck, his chest, his thighs, stomach, back, arms, ALL of it

Kuroeku AU where they have a daughter

Chrome takes care of almost everything around the house. He also does most of the baby care, delegating to Ekusu only feeding their daughter and playing with her, but because his pro blader life is busy as hell in addition, he's just so exhausted and reaches a turning point.

Being exhausted makes him more prone to getting annoyed so he snaps at Ekusu over something fairly trivial like making a mess of the apartment while he was gone... he's quick to cool down and apologise for it but still firmly tells him to be more responsible... Ekusu would usually whine about it and protest if Chrome tried to delegate him unfun duties but he notices how tired Chrome looks and dejectedly starts picking up after himself.

Chrome tries to take care of their baby but he's making noticeable mistakes and is cautious of accidentally hurting her by being too out of it, so he asks Ekusu to take care of her instead for today. He reluctantly agrees but has NO clue what he's supposed to do because he barely ever pays attention to what Chrome does with her unless he deems it fun... Chrome goes to their room to sleep while Ekusu has no clue how to take care of her... he only knows that if he holds her she likes it and will probably sleep but what about when to feed her? Or change diapers? And he doesn't want to do that, that's disgusting... what if she throws up!? And what if she cries and he doesn't know what's wrong because she can't speak yet?

When she starts getting fussy and him shushing or rocking her or using a pacifier no longer helps, he calls Multi in a panic, begging her to help him and Multi is like: "Me!? What makes you think I know what to do!?"

"You're a girl! Don't girls take care of babies?"

She lowkey wants to hit him for that comment and chews him out but Shiguru intercepts the phone and tells Ekusu that they're on their way over.

Surprisingly, Shiguru is good at taking care of her. Well, Ekusu knows that his daughter likes her but he didn't pay close attention as to why, he just assumed it's because Shiguru is cool and honestly, who wouldn't like Shiguru?

"I used to take care of Multi like this," she tells him when he asks, making Multi all embarrassed. Ekusu, on the other hand, never really thought about that. Shiguru must've been old enough to remember helping her sister then.

Also embarrassingly enough Ekusu has forgotten that babies need to eat more often and half of her fusing is solved by either getting a bottle to feed her or by breastfeeding... He needs to remember this for the next time.

As Shiguru helps him with the baby, Multi chews him out for the way he's basically just thrown all the things in a pile and shoved them in a closet and said it's clean. She dictates him until he actually cleans up the mess, even though it's still sloppily done because he's unused to it, but it's way better than before. 

They go home afterwards and Ekusu gets hungry... he has no Chrome to complain to to make him a meal and he tries to make something himself but it's completely inedible so now he pesters Bird for help... who brings him a box of his handmade sushi and then takes his daughter in his hands when she starts crying and Ekusu can no longer console her, not even with food or a pacifier or a boobie. It's like magic, seeing her calm down so quickly after Bird rocks her and positions her correctly and does some weird Bird magic on her or something, so maybe his notion about girls being good with babies was wrong after all... Maybe it's just Birds that are amazing at it! And older sisters.

Bird gives him the baby afterwards and instructs him on how to rock her but it takes a long time before she fully settles in his arms, no longer complaining about whatever Ekusu was doing wrong. While he's trying to get the baby calmed down the way Bird had, Bird cleans the rest of the place and fixes whatever Ekusu had sloppily folded or stacked or shoved in empty drawers. Wow, Bird really is like a wife in movies, good at everything... 

How hard would it be to convince him to come every day to do this!?

When Bird tells him that no, he can't and won't do that and excuses it by saying "Chrome would kill me, Ekusu!", Ekusu goes to sulk and pout on the couch. It isn't for long because Bird just shoves sushi in his mouth until he cheers up and then tells him there's some more on the counter for Chrome and to put it in the fridge if he doesn't wake up soon.

Ekusu is kinda exhausted by that point so after Bird goes home he just falls asleep on the sofa with his daughter in his arms, snuggled up together.

And that's how Chrome finds them when he wakes up from his nap, curled up on a couch and sleeping, so serene, so cute... The whole apartment is surprisingly relatively clean, there's some leftover food for him on the kitchen counter and both his adorable wif- uh, boyfriend and daughter seem content, sleeping soundly. However, it's not safe laying like this, Ekusu could let go of her in his sleep, so he goes to take the baby away and put her in her own bed. It's a mistake because surprisingly Ekusu wakes up the moment he tries to do that, clutching on to her protectively. He has never woken up before because of her, it has always been Chrome. "Oh, it's just Chrome," he mumbles out bleary but he still doesn't let up, just whines for Chrome to lie down beside them.

Well, he can't really say no to that, he doesn't want to say no to that, so he indulges Ekusu and has both him and their daughter lean against him so they can nap some more. He turns on the tv in the meantime, moreso as background noise than to actually focus on the screen. After all, he is way too distracted by his two little sunshines to care much about anything else.

B4 organises some kind of fanservice event and Chrome sabotages it so he’s always intentionally paired with Ekusu and gets to be in compromising positions with him

I wanna see Chrome singing to Ekusu softly... He’s embarrassed about it but Ekusu likes it a lot and finds it soothing. He even falls asleep to it and begs Chrome to always sing before bed.

Baito should kidnap Ekusu to lock him and Chrome in the same room and observe what happens... additionally tell them he won't open the doors until they fuck for the fun of it... we will all be jerking off with him in the cuck chair

Ekusu would get lost in a shopping mall... wouldn't even notice because he's too preoccupied running amongst toys and looking for beyblade shit... and he'd be drawn in by team merch.... finds old Pendragon merch of him, Shiguru and Chrome together and suddenly falls quiet, face going from a happy expression to a distant one... remembering... It makes him a little sentimental and he wants the little plushies that represent his former self and team... ah, but he has no money on him and... wait, where even is he???Where's Multi and Bird.??
