Kuromaku is definitely on meth to get all of his work done and stay focused. Felix, as the jack of hearts and the one who wants to spread happiness to all corners of the world, is his dealer.

• Whenever they read something together, Felix gives silly voices for the characters no matter who they are. A buff serious character? He has a Mickey Mouse voice now. The evil villain that's supposed to be threatening? Sounds like something from a Saturday morning cartoon. A literal kid character? Has the most high pitched voice of all. Kuromaku chides him everytime because they lose the plot real quick.
• Felix himself ties with smiley faces to wear during any random Important Serious Event but mostly just to match with Kuro lol.
• Felix writes daily affirmations on Kuromaku's drawing board! Only small ones on the side though, so Kuromaku has a lot of space to actually still write there.
• Idk if this even counts as a hc but I think an important aspect of their relationship (platonic or otherwise) is the honesty. Since they both try to be in control of their situation and wish to avoid disorder (when it goes against positivity, in Felix's case) I think they'd form a sort of alliance(?) to keep everyone out of trouble. They're both prone to deception at times, although Kuromaku is a horribleee liar while Felix can pull it off when he has prep time—because of that, they reallyyy value trust and transparency with each other when it comes to achieving that goal.

• They wake up wayy before everyone else—Felix because of those *shakes fist in air angrily* damn chairs and Kuro because he functions better with an early wake-up time—so they have chats together while everyone else's asleep methinks. Just talking about random stuff lol, a lot of it's lighthearted complaints about the others.
• Felix makes Kuro his own super cool bookmarks (with glitter and a shiny surface and everything) and Kuromaku wanted to reject them initially, but seeing how personalized Felix made it (with the number Two and some grayish colors and a boring quote from some smart famous person idk) Kuro couldn't not accept the gift. So now he uses them all the time when reading!!
• Everytime Kuro is working on something, like papers for whatever, Felix pours him a cup of coffee/tea and hands him a plate of cookies and other sweets in case he goes hungry.
• Kuro doesn't like much candy, so Felix is always trying to open him up to different ones—he ends up liking the crunchy hard ones with a gooey inside, though he doesn't like how it sticks to his teeth after. (Felix totally memorizes everyone's candy preferences) (Also guys consider the duo name Rock Candy for them maybe..)
• Kuro nags Felix about his health a lot. That includes the sharp teeth and ofc the sugar consumption.
• Kuro too cares about global warming—not as extremely as Felix does, but it's also very upsetting to him how ignorant people are about it and other problems in society. He def talks to Felix about political news too, and while Felix isn't nearly as passionate as him, he gets it yk?
• Felix thinks if anyone should be president, it's Kuromaku (he's delusional okay) and while he acts ‘modest’ about it, this absolutely fuels Kuro's ego... until Felix says he should be his vice pres or secretary or something and Kuro's like “uhh no, change topic” knowing damn well things would go to horsecrap if Felix had that much power—he's too polite to tell him that though.
