you poor, sweet, innocent thing. [ izuru! ]
Honey gold eyes widened at the Great Weaver's words, but only heartbeats later he curled forward trying to suppress his laughs. Not that he completely managed, a handful of sharp sounds spluttering past his lips at the thought. Him? Innocent? Him?
She didn't know of what she spoke.
Innocence had been stripped of him, everything he had, everything he was, laid bare and judged. Taken and bent, twisted, until he wasn't even sure who or what he was anymore.
Pleasure turned to pain and back to pleasure, body and mind pulled apart and placed back together. Just how his Captain wished.
Even now, with his Captain held in the Maggot's Nest, Izuru longed for the strange peace that he found in that tangled web of pleasure-pain-pleasure that made thinking impossible. It was the hunger for that which had dropped him so smoothly to his knees at her sharp words; whether she'd expected that response to rebuking him or not. The flash of sensation caused by his knees hitting stone had left his breath catching as he watched her, wanting, needing, the cruelty he could see in her eyes.
Perhaps it was wrong for him to wish to experience her viciousness, but he had long learned to thrive in that space where nothing mattered so long as he did as he was told.
After a few moments, he managed to calm himself and straightened up again. Though he didn't even try to meet her eye, training kicking in as it so rarely did with anyone but him. Licking his lips, Izuru had to try a couple times to manage to actually speak, no sound or only a couple crackles leaving his throat to start with.
"Apologies, I did not mean to laugh at you. I accept my punishment, I had no right to be so rude." Whether she had one planned or not, the words had slipped past his lips on habit from the decades he'd spent at his Captain's mercy.
If he were lucky, perhaps hers would be similarly minimal.
