"I've been schemin' like a criminal ever since, to make 'em love me an' make it seem effortless." -Kuromi [ @kuromifyu ]
Barely caring to hold in his scoff, the Rowdyruff rolled his eyes at the lyrics to the song she was singing as she passed him by. Ugh, it always had to be some shitty song about love, didn’t it? She literally could’ve sang about anything else— drugs, sex, weapons, blood, mass destruction, and yet, it was love!!! Could her music taste be anymore boring and predictable? As she continued to sing the next verse to the song, Butch watched from where he stood as the purple haired girl came to a stop by the cross walk, waiting for the signal for her to cross, when something shiny caught his eye as she lifted up her hand. A ring. The diamond was a dark purple—nearly black—shaped as a heart and held by a golden band with horns and wings protruding out of the heart shaped diamond. It wasn’t the most fanciest looking ring he has ever seen, and it sure as hell wasn’t the most expensive. Yet, as he eyed the piece of jewelry, the desire to snatch the ring away from her came to mind and Butch grinned.
Randomly stealing from people wasn’t uncommon. In fact, once the idea was set within his mind, it didn’t take much longer for him to put it into motion. And just as the light signaled for her to walk, Butch zoomed towards her, slipping and snatching the ring out from her hands in a blink, before he started to run off across the street. And just as he did so, the Rowdyruff was cocky enough to turn back to look at her, shooting the girl a smirk as he held out the ring for her to see. “Thanks for the ring, babe!” He called out with a wink.
