ending up dead or imprisoned isn’t his only cliche
Bonus:
It's been a minute since I've written anything for Kurt Fedorov in a minute. I kinda want to but I've been really uninspired lately.
Dating kurt would include
I love this dork okay 》Fluff《
Okay so I’ve said this before, but Kurt isn’t like touchy-feely.
Like yeah, when you’re at home he’s perfectly fine with smothering you with love.
He likes to pull you close to him when your sleeping and pressed kisses to your forehead.
speaking of kisses, they are usually soft and sweet.
he always asks for permission first (consent is sexy okay)
Unless he’s really jealous, (like if some dude is like hella hitting on you) then he holds you tightly and kisses you roughly.
He gets pouty sometimes when he’s jealous. Like if you’re paying a lot of attention to someone who is kinda flirting with you but you’re just kinda oblivious to it.
His favorite nicknames for you are Solnyshko (little sun), Krasotka (gorgeous, beauty), and Pups (Babydoll).
You love when he dirty talks you in Russian and that's tea.
He loves telling you stories from his childhood and cooking traditional meals for you.
You’ve started using some of his weird phrases (The boys think it’s hilarious)
He is a creature of habit and you moving in threw it off and he was a mess for like a whole ass month until he finally settled into a new routine.
He loves when you take pictures together. Like cute little matching coffee mugs.
His favorite picture though is you on your tiptoes smooching his cheek underneath the tree of life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
This sweet old lady with her grandchildren took your picture, commenting on how cute a couple you were.
It’s the background for his phone
You have breakfast dates on Sundays.
Thursday nights are movie nights with the boys.
Once a month you have a special date just ta keep the romance alive.
I know I don’t talk about sex much, but with him, it’d be so good.
like he’d be so sweet and loving. He’d whisper the sweetest things in your ear.
Again, unless he’s jealous bc then he’s a little shit.
I digress, a n y w a y
He likes to hug you from behind and press kisses to your neck.
He doesn’t seem the type (and tbh a fanfic that I might’ve been tagged in totally made me think this) but he’d be the best around babies.
He likes to run his fingers up and down your thighs when you are laying next to him. Not even in a sexual way, he just kinda does it absently.
Play with his hair and he’ll melt I s2g.
I could probably think of more but like I love him so much don’t @ me.

Kurt Fedorov loved your diner. He always stopped by, just like clockwork. He was cute, he would always take a seat at the counter, and eat there. He always gave you that stupid smile, asking for the same shitty meal.
“So you been coming around here day after day, asking for the same thing,” You leaned over the counter to pour his coffee, “I'm starting to think you don't just come here for the sandwiches.”
“Perhaps not.” He smiled at you. “Perhaps a pretty lady caught my eye?”
“Is it Lucy?” You gestured over to the other waitress who was running around filling orders, “Cus if she is, then I don't blame you.”
“She is beautiful, but no, it's not Lucy.” He chuckled.
“Whomever she is, she's very lucky.” You winked. “Can I get you anything else?”
“Your phone number? A date would be nice.” He shrugged, giving you a grin. Your surprise eased into a smile.
“Friday, I'll meet you at the Happy's on 5th. 7:00.” You scrawled your number on your notepad, sliding the paper his way.
--
Friday couldn't come soon enough, and when it did you anxiously played with the skirt of your dress, waiting outside Happy’s.
Kurt almost froze when he saw you. You looked so cute with your hair half pulled back and your dress fit you so nicely. You weren't just beautiful, you were ethereal.
“I'm not late, am I?” He captured your attention as he approached. Man did he look amazing in a button up and slacks.
“7 on the dot,” you beamed, making a show of checking your watch. “Looks like you're right on time.”
Once you took your seat at a nice table, and talked as you waited. It was nice to hear about his friends, his job, his passions. He was so patient, listening as you told him that you took the waitressing job as a way to pay through your internship. His voice was so pleasant, and it turns out that you had enough common interests that a second date was already being arranged as he walked you back to your car.
Kurt turned out to be a Sweetheart under his stiff exterior, and your fun loving attitude sure helped him loosen up.

Kurt was in trouble, and he knew it. From the moment you answered his roommate ad, he was done for. In retrospect, maybe he shouldn’t have accepted your ‘application’; you fit all of his requirements: you were neat, quiet, you didn't throw parties, you were capable of cooking, you gave him his space, and you held a steady job.
It wasn’t until that one fateful day he came home from work, dead exhausted, ready to pass out face down on the couch, did the subtle barrier between the two of you really fall. His eyes were burning from staring at a computer screen all day, his muscles tense from sitting in a chair for hours at a time. He was half on top of you anyway, so you just kinda did the best you could at working the knots out of his shoulders. From the moment your fingers dug into his muscles, relieving the tension in his torso, was the moment he knew he was a goner. You hummed lightly as you worked away the knots, he couldn’t recall the name of the song or how the melody progressed, but he knew that it was warm and soothing and he fought the tiredness that had been growing in him all day.
After that, you had become disgustingly domestic with each other. He would cook you traditional meals that his mother taught him, and you would reciprocate with the home-cooked meals that you loved from your childhood. Somedays, you would just lay on the couch, watching some dumb show that was on, or you would lean against him a book propped up against your knees with a cup of coffee on the coffee table. There had been plenty of times Dave, Scott, or Louis had walked in on the two of you passed out on the couch and honestly they couldn’t believe the two of you were simply platonic.
“Kurt, you know you gotta tell Y/n right?” Dave asked, during their lunch break.
“Tell, Y/n what?” Kurt shot back distractedly.
“That you’re in love with her?” Dave made a face at the oblivious Russian.
“I’m not in love with her, we are friends.” Kurt shrugged, going back to his lunch; leftover chili and cheese over rice that you’d made last night.
“Yeah, and I’m not a convict,” Dave rolled his eyes. “If you don’t tell her soon, someone is going to snatch her up. Just sayin’.”
Kurt frowned, mulling over Dave’s words as he finished his meal.
***********************************
You were in the middle of making dinner when Kurt got home, You looked adorable in the dress you were wearing. Every year you would bring a white dress into your class and a bunch of fabric markers and you’d let your class draw on it. During their lunch break you would change into the dress, and from the looks of it, you hadn’t changed out of the dress yet. It was now or never, he thought as he approached you. He wrapped his arms around your waist and sang an ever familiar melody in your ear.
“And I can’t help, falling in love with you.” He sang softly, his accent lilting the words. You turned in his arms, unbelievable close to him.
“Are you trying to say something or is that just stuck in your head?” You asked with a smile.
“You make me happy,” He admitted after a moment of pause.
“You make me happy too,” You grinned. “So, Fedorov, are you gonna kiss me or not?”
His lips were warm and soft against yours, his hand threading through your hair. He gently nibbled on your bottom lip as he pulled you closer into him. You hummed at the feeling, your hands bunched in his shirt at his waist. He kissed you like this would be that last time he’d ever kiss you, like if the world were to collapse at that moment you’d at least have this moment. One hand tangled in your hair, the other gripping your hip as you fought the need for air until your lungs burned.
“Well,” You panted, “That was unexpected.”
“You are a surprisingly good kisser for a first-grade teacher,” He joked as you rolled your eyes at him.
“Keep that up, Fedorov, and you might not have the chance to kiss me again.”
He beamed widely and pressed a kiss to your forehead, then your temple, then your cheek, then the tip of your nose, before finally pressing a sweet kiss to your lips. Falling for you was inevitable, it was fated; he couldn’t help it and neither could you.

It had been a wonderful six months since you and Kurt had started dating. Life was never dull around him, or his friends for that matter.
Kurt wasn’t the touchy-feely type, at least not in public. In public, Kurt preferred the simple things; holding your hand while crossing the street, making sure that you are walking on the inside of the sidewalk, and maybe -maybe- a peck on the lips if you were going to do separate things - like when you’re in a mall and you wanna go to one store and Kurt wants to go into another store, but you only have time for one. At home, however, Kurt was more relaxed. He still wasn’t too touchy-feely but he enjoyed relaxing with you on the couch, taking naps on the couch, and he was more liberal with his hugs and kisses.
You were waiting at a cafe/deli where you were meeting Kurt for lunch. Your boyfriend, your dopey wonderful boyfriend, was caught at work and running late. Thinking on it, he probably got caught up in one Luis’ never-ending stories.
So there you sat alone at a table, a laptop in front of you as you finished up a couple of work emails. The white noise of the allowed you to busy yourself without too much thought, absently listening to strangers conversations. Unfortunately, that wonderful absence of thought was interrupted as a familiar face plopped themself at your table.
“Y/n! It’s been a while. How are you?” Greeted the visitor.
“Cameron?” You rose your brows. Cameron was an old friend from high school, not one that you would reach out to, but you were polite. “Uh, I’ve been good.”
“That’s good!” Cameron flashed you a smile before launching into conversation. You were only half invested, trying to be polite. Until, at least, the topic turned toward your career. You were happy to talk about all the weird adventure that you’d been dragged into; soon you found yourself laughing at his jokes, relaxed in his familiar presence.
“Sorry I’m late, solnyshko*,” Kurt pressed a light kiss to your cheek, taking the seat next to you, “Luis and his stories.”
“It’s no problem, we were just talking.” You gave your boyfriend a smile.
“Aren’t you going to introduce me to your friend, Sweetheart?” Cameron asked, his smile no longer as warm and friendly as it had been when you started talking. With that one phrase, you could feel Kurt’s demeanor shift. “Uh,-” You stuttered.
“I’m Kurt.” Your boyfriend introduced himself, quickly following up with one important detail, “Y/n’s boyfriend.”
Kurt didn’t even really like the word boyfriend. He didn’t like introducing himself that way. If he was in a relationship that was all he wanted to be. He didn’t mind you introducing him as your boyfriend, and he loved showing you off to his buddies, but the second the words ‘Y/n’s boyfriend.’ that was the clearest sign that something was wrong.
The look on Cameron’s face, however, was worth his response. It was quick if you blinked you would’ve missed it. Just a flash of shock, then anger, and then that perfected mask of a smile graced his face once again.
“Well, Cameron, it was nice catching up, but I haven’t and I’d prefer quality time with my boyfriend.” You said. It really was just a nice way of saying “I’m hungry so fuck off.”
Cameron picked up on your meaning well enough, promising to see you again and bidding Kurt his farewells.
For the rest of the day, Kurt was put off. His answers were shorter than usual and he was grumbly. His thoughts were consumed with who was that guy? how did he know you, and the most devastating of all, how much that guy seemed to want to get with you. It was stupid, but that guy spoke English really well, and he was so attractive and suave.
When you got home Kurt was sprawled across the couch, furiously coding on his laptop.
“Babe,” You hummed as you approached, “Are you okay?”
He was silent for a good minute, his hand hovering over the keyboard before he finally just closed the laptop and pushed it off to the side.
“I don’t like the way he looks at you,” Kurt admitted finally.
“Who?”
“That guy from lunch.” Kurt adjusted, allowing you to settle yourself between his legs.
“Cameron?” You let out a surprised laugh.
“I don’t like him. He looks at you like the sun, but you are my sun; my solnyshko.” He growled softly.
“Good.” You smiled, leaning in to whisper, “I don’t like him either.”
“Please don’t ever leave me, solnyshko.” Kurt let his head fall against your shoulder.
“I’d never dream of it,” You whispered, dragging your fingers through his hair. He pressed a soft kiss where your neck met your collarbone.
“Ya’know,” You hummed, “You’re pretty cute when you’re jealous.”
* solnyshko = small sun
