From a few weeks ago. It is so nice to be able to get back to some things that we used to do. My friend and I dined outside and then sketched together...

Just like it is for everybody else, it is a tough summer here with the pandemic. I don’t get my usual creative time when I can work on projects for uninterrupted periods , explore ideas, mediums, materials... I have been feeling stagnant. // For a while I have been craving to draw with beautiful pencils. Finally, I made an investment to get the luscious Caran d’Ache ones. I am so excited to experiment with them! Here is the first go, the random objects on my desk: matchstick, cheek blush, penguin, pill container, ceramic cup, blue pen, pea shaped pen.
