I was so amazed by city Kuttenberg, when I saw it first time. It's a view from the hill with all these cows, huts and haystacks and behind it all - big unexplored town and andventures... Drew that landscape for share all these feelings. p.s. Btw, I plan to print a poster with that, if someone wants poster of commish like that - send DM
(Pssst....I might hide some of these around Kuttenberg this weekend)
A fountain? Where does the water come from? Here, in the middle of the city? — an investigation
have you, like henry, ever wondered where indeed the water in the fountain comes from? in that case, look no further.
as you have probably learned from KCD2, the city of Kutna Hora owes its beginnings to the mining trade. however, with the gradual expansion of the silver mining, the city's water sources became affected. this shortage of water led to the necessity of bringing water from more distant places, undisturbed by mining. the solution for this was the construction of a city water supply from the spring near Bylany.
thus the Stone fountain of Kutna Hora (Rejsek's fountain) was born — the city's urbanistic solution for the supply of drinking water.
the stone construction was created sometimes during the second half of the 15th century and it served as a reservoir of drinkable water for the residents.
so, where does the water come from?
as per this post, a player had found an aqueduct in the forest near Bylany which goes in the direction of Kutna Hora.
this aqueduct can be found irl today in the same spot, and the one we can see today was built at the end of the 15th century. it bridges across the Přítocká valley, and it was originally built out of tree trunks.
but where does the water come from?!
this aqueduct supplied the water to the city and the fountain from the nearby spring located 2.5km away from Kutna Hora, chapel of St. Adalbert near Bylany.
however, the spring no longer supplies the Kutna Hora Stone fountain with water but a local pond and several other locations in the city.
you can also find the actual spring marked by an unnamed shrine in the game. (thank you @lordgeneralsix for checking!)
mystery solved! (someone please notify henry)

Hear ye hear ye! New Kingfisher bathhouse hosts grand opening party
Henry and Hans were on a night out having drinks in Kuttenberg, but they couldn't make it back to the inn before they had to....
AHEM. The Thumbry of Decency is here to tell you that Henry is simply helping Hans tie his hose back up, as they've fallen down by accident. No funny business. Right Tumblr?
Check out my BlueSky at Garden-Ghoul to have these details confirmed or denied.
I had an excessive amount of fun painting the background considering probably nobody will look at it.
