was supposed to be editing my writing but i was abruptly seized by a bizarre need to design a goichi magical girl au, as one is, so here's that?
this feels so silly and honestly too far removed. but I had fun and it was mostly a lil distraction for myself. also some bonus sillies:

also, since i'm under the cut already, time for some of the little context i have: I imagine Ichijou is in some way aware of ~her duty~ as a magical girl (I don't think they'd actually be calling it this, but I've not got any bright ideas right now for what they would be) and is prepared for her burden, but when the time comes, Godai also ends up being called upon (since they're alike and both desire to proect to people) and Ichijou, having not expected a teammate, tries to warn Godai, who she doesn't think is taking it very seriously, off for her own safety and insists she can do it herself.
this backfires because they're literally meant to be a duo and her abilities alone aren't enough, so Ichijou ends up needing rescuing by Godai. who then shows she's taking it seriously and Ichijou Gets that they're alike in that way... and then she also ends up smitten.
I imagine other characters are around too in some capacity, but I wanted it to be a futari wa precure situation when it's the two them vs everything.
I haven't done digital art much recently, but it's kuuga's 25th which is cause for celebratory goichi! 💖
kuuga is my favourite show ever and I can't even begin to express how much it means to me... the anniversary feels especially precious as I was born on the very same day that it premiered to the year, so we turn 25 together 💕
