For the YH Revival Create-a-Thon! Event I drew some fanart for the yyh band AU that @kazimakuwabara, @yyh-behind-the-scenes & @siruoa

Image 1 - Is an old, damaged Spirit Bomb record that is being sold at a garage sale and keeps getting marked down.

Image 2 - During one of the concerts, Yusuke, in the heat of the moment, kissed Kurama. Now that has become their thing to do on stage. It's unclear if they are dating. I love Hiei's "really, in front of my salad" expression.

Image 3 - Even though Hiei had earlier refused to kiss Kuwabara, once back on the tour bus he changed his mind.

Rarely do I slow down enough to share my process from a sketch to a finished, colored piece. This is my display piece for my commission page, which I’ll be opening up at the end of May or June.

I know that it is, likely, due to Togashi simply not considering the absence of Yuusuke's dad so early on in the series but sometimes...I think about the fact his dad knew where they were living, and didn't even come to Yuusuke's wake

This is cracking me up, and, you're not the only person who has gone 'well, Yuusuke would want to throttle him *if he did show up*'! Botan's face in the 4th panel is *so good* Yuusuke, meeting Koenma, if his dad was there:

I'm between two designs for a Gangle sticker and wanted to run a poll to see which one people like more.

I do have a separate sticker with Gangle happy, and this is for deciding the design for a sad/unhappy/frightened Gangle sticker.

It was a joy to work with @kazimakuwabara & @yyh-behind-the-scenes on this project. When I found out about the project, I just had to join. I had such fun combining yyh refrences with Labyrinth ones until they started to seemlessly blend together.

I'm looking forward to unwinding this fall and really slowly reading, and taking in the whole story.

I knew exactly what I wanted to create when I got this assignment. I've been itching to draw a movie poster and have always found the Labyrinth poster exectionally beautiful with the beautiful designs by Brian Froud.

Ted Coconis is the artist behind the original Labyrinth poster. He works primary with acrylic paints, which surprised me because his work feels like watercolors. You can check out his work here.
