do you have any favorite kuzupeko headcanons??

yES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

after peko’s execution, kuzuryuu has nothing left of her. (he stated this in his fourth free-time event, i think? and that’s terrible bc at least koizumi had the photographs that she took and all, but kuzu has NOTHING left of peko oh my god) he of course has the memory of peko, but that’s all he can cling on to. so at night, he’d get up and go to the door to her room, and most of the time he’d fall asleep by her door because its one of the only physical reminders of her that’s left.

after kuzuryuu’s sister was killed, he realized that he had to stop pushing peko away. he started regretting the terrible things that he did to his sister, the times when he told her to leave him alone. he realized that he needed to change, but it was too late. the events after his sister’s death eventually led to him falling into despair u_u;;

the two of them despise violence (thats p much canon) but if one of their lives were threatened, theyd do absolutely anything to protect the other 

when they were kids, they were v good childhood friends but eventually peko was trained and molded to be more like a tool, and kuzuryuu’s mindset of thinking that ‘he was powerful only because of his family but not powerful bc of who he is’ started to grow and this eventually led to distance between the two of them when they were young ;3;

peko genuinely wanting to protect kuzu not just bc she was raised to protect him but because she admires him and respects him and everything oh ym god (this is a very strong headcanon of mine and ive said it many times before uwu)

peko always had a crush on kuzuryuu but she never really understood it, and so just shrugged it off for lots of reasons (like the family wouldnt accept it, and basically because she didnt even really understand what she was feeling). however, when peko finally understood what friendship meant (thanks to hinata or w/e) she realized what she was feeling for kuzuryuu!! yeah

i like to think that peko and fukawa would be really good friends in an au or something (theyve faced similar situations in life, and i think what peko needs is a friend that has been through things like her, so they can overcome the struggles in their life together or something)  and imagine peko asking fukawa for relationship advice yES

i have this headcanon that kuzuryuu has a secret fear of spiders or cockroaches or something like that and when he gets up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or something he sees one an gets scared. so he runs to wake up peko and begs her to kill it and she immediately wakes up and kills it for him. Then she gives him a good night kiss. But before Kuzuryuu goes back to bed, he gives her a huge hug and thanks her.

This headcanon is fucking adorable. I can totally picture Kuzuryuu having that fear oh wow

(i have too many kuzupeko ideas but anyway) once after peko woke up and everyone was living on the island, peko was training with her sword to try to get back into it after so long in a coma and recovering and in the middle of it kuzu came in and she didnt see him at first and she ended up almost hitting him and she ended up having memories of her execution and kuzu had to calm her down and tell her everything was ok now and he wasnt hurt and neither was she

this is very painful but also a very good idea???

kuzupeko head canons part ??????

major SDR2 endgame spoilers under the cut

so i talked a bit about depair kuzupeko but i didn't get into detail about what happens after they kill kuzu's family. well now kuzu and peko are free. kuzu is free from those awful things everyone would say about him like "he's not strong enough." peko is free from being a tool. she's more than a tool now, because everyone who thought of her as one is dead.

but they're still deep in despair. they continue killing people because it's fun. they help massacre kids at hope's peak. but aside from all that killing, kuzu and peko are very glad to be free. now that peko is not a tool anymore, she is closer to kuzu than ever. she still protects him. but they two of them have allowed each other to get really close. and they begin a romantic relationship with each other. they both love to be with each other and cuddle each other and fluffy stuff like that. i imagine that junko has some building she took over for despair kids to live, and kuzu and peko share a room and a bed. all the other despair kids think it's really sickeningly sweet. kuzu and peko don't really care about what other people think anymore.

but of course they're still in despair. they have each other, but they want to cause other people despair for what they had to go through. but they never leave each other. when they kill, they kill together.  but they both promise to never leave each other no matter what.

so basically they have a creepy but sweet romantic thing going on there.

MORE KUZUPEKO HEADCANONS NO ONE ASKED FOR:

so pre-despair peko decides she's had enough and goes to gundam and asks if she could have a pet hamster for her dorm, so gundam shows her some of his hamsters. and there's this cute little albino one that catches her eye right  away. so naturally peko takes that one right away without a second thought and shows it to kuzuryuu like "look young master, it's just like me!" and kuzu thinks it's kind of adorable too and suggests that it looks like her as a hamster. so peko names it peko and puts peko the hamster in a cage in her dorm. but then she says that if she has peko the hamster, she should have a version of kuzuryuu that is also a hamster, too. so she gets another hamster from gundam that has kind of the same fur color as kuzu's hair and names it kuzu the hamster.

so every day peko kind of gives kuzuryuu updates on the hamsters, but whenever she talks about them she refers to them as if the hamsters are them, like "you really seem to love running on the wheel, young master" or "yesterday you and i were sleeping a lot more than usual" and kuzuryuu kind of finds it a little odd, but adorable at the same time, because it's like... they have hamster versions of themselves. peko just thinks it's really adorable

so naturally one day the hamster kuzu and peko have babies. and peko's kind of stunned so she runs to kuzuryuu and goes "young master, we're parents! we have babies!" and kuzuryuu is basically like "WHAT THE HELL PEKO??? oh you mean the hamsters." and then they watch the hamster versions of themselves and "their" babies and they're both kind of very flustered over the whole thing.

i am here to bring you the kuzupek imagine Kuzu trying to buy Peko a dog s in ce she w ants to be able to touch their fur again so he k ind of gets a really huge dog and Peko gets kind of surprised when it lets her touch it a nd she just goes all red for a moment before finally accepti ng it 's a dog look it 's a d og !! a dog it 's letting me touch it ! and i n the end they end up so rt of having some sort of group hug with the dog and they' re all happy wi th their new dog,, sweeties,,

this is so cute!?!??!?!??!? thank you for the kuzupeko yes yes.

OKAY POST SDR2 KUZUPEKO UNDER THE CUT BEWARE OF ENDGAME SPOILERS

okay so obviously everyone is still alive because of course they are, don't be silly. it starts off with the survivors hanging on the real island, with their friends still in those capsule things. and kuzu just kind of. he's still scarred from peko's death and the possibility that she could be alive is just making him completely ecstatic. because remember at the end with junko, how he kept begging her to tell him if it was possible to bring the dead kids back?

anyways the survivors still remember the game and have their memories written over, and they're all kind of trying to avoid finding out what horrible things they did when they were despair. but kuzu still has a missing eye, so he's a little concerned, but right now all he really worries about is peko. will she wake up? kuzu sits there by her capsule a lot, waiting for her to wake up. some days, he refuses to leave her side. he's moved a sleeping bag over so he can sleep next to it. hinata tells him she's definitely going to wake up eventually, so he doesn't have to sit there by her side the whole time

but kuzu wants to be there for her when she wakes up. he wants to see her eyes open again and the first thing he wants her to know is how much he regrets her death and how this time, she's going to stay by his side forever, not as his tool, but as a friend (hahahahahahahaha "friends"). 

of course they don't wake up right away. it takes a month before the first person wakes up, and when they do, it's not peko. nidai wakes up first, much to akane's delight. kuzu watches as akane hugs nidai and cries to him (in an akane like way) about how sorry she is, and how glad she is to have him back. and kuzu is jealous. very jealous. it makes him hurt. so that night he doesn't go to sleep at all. he just sits and watches her. he waits for any sign... but peko is still as ever.

a week later and more people wake up. twogami, ibuki, tsumiki... koizumi wakes up next, which was something kuzu was not looking forward too. he's never been good at apologies, and while he had an idea of what he wanted to say to peko, he has no idea what to say to her. "sorry i killed you?" so he just kind of... doesn't say anything. koizumi eyes him from a distance as she chats with the others and kuzu feels awful.

and then there's gundam... and then kuzu has to watch as sonia and gundam have their big reunion. souda has to watch too, of course. and somewhere in his heart kuzu is worried. what if everyone else wakes up except her? what if he never gets the chance to tell her? and he's so scared and horrified by the idea that he again spends the night with peko, but this time, he leans over her capsule and cries

and that's when she wakes up. the capsule opens and the disoriented, messy peko pulls herself to sit up. she looks at kuzu, who is completely shocked and still crying. 

"young master?" peko would ask. "what...?"

and then without answering, kuzu would just grab her and hug her, and cry into her shoulder while telling her how much he was glad that she was alive.

so continuing on from the last post, most despair inducing kuzupeko head canons (HEAVY SDR2 ENDGAME SPOILERSS)

so kuzu and peko are deep in despair. and when junko launches her plan for the "worst most despair inducing incident" they are thrilled to help out. a lot of shsl despair did a lot  of different things to help out, but i think that kuzu and peko were the part that did a lot of the massacre. something i find kind of ironic: remember kira kira? of course you do. remember those pictures of people killing other people wearing monokuma masks? yes, that was probably what peko did. she probably ran around the school and city wearing that mask, killing person after person without a second thought. beside her would be kuzu, who did the same. but most importantly is what happened with the kuzuryuu group.

they are both so tired of the kuzuryuu group, what with the whole "peko is useless" and "kuzu isn't strong enough" driving them to despair. so they show up at the house during the incident and just so that they can prove to them that they're not worthless or weak, they murder everyone they can get their hands on. of course, the kuzuryuu group is huge and not everyone would be at the main house, but everyone who is there. of course, kuzuryuu makes sure he takes care of his parents. he makes sure they die in despair, regretting what they had said about their son and his tool.

they leave the kuzuryuu group in a wreck without a leader to destroy itself. and kuzu and peko are happy to watch it die together, with each other. now, no one could doubt the two of them. also, if the family had any objections to his relationship with peko, they certainly couldn't act on them now. they were both free from the awful things the family had said about them, and free to be with each other...
