KVPY Exam Pattern 2019 | KVPY 2019 Paper Pattern and Marking Scheme For SA, SB & SX
KVPY is a national entrance exam which is conducted to the students of young minds. Every Year IISC will conduct KVPY exam in the month of November. Students must prepare for KVPY exam by knowing about KVPY Syllabus and KVPY Exam Pattern. Before starting preparation students must know about marking scheme, books, and type of Questions. KVPY exam duration is 3 hours and maximum marks are 100.
KVPY Exam will be of two stages
Aptitude Test and
Interview
KVPY Exam has the following subjects
Physics
Mathematics
Biology
Chemistry
KVPY Exam Pattern for SA Stream:
There are two parts in the KVPY Exam
For SA Stream Each subject there are 15 Questions in Part I and 5 Questions in Part II.
Number of questions in Part I are 15 * 4 = 60 Questions, each question carries 1 mark.
Number of question in Part II are 5 * 4 = 20 Questions, each question carries 2 marks.
Total Number of Questions 80 and maximum marks 100.
KVPY Exam Pattern for SB/SX Stream
For SB/SX Stream Each subject there are 20 Questions in Part I and 5 Questions in Part II.
From the 4 subjects in Part I students have a choice to choose 3 subjects and at the same time in Part II Students have a choice to choose 2 subjects.
So that, number of question in Part I are 20 * 3 = 60 Questions, each question carries 1 mark.
number of question in Part II are 10 * 2 = 20 Questions, each question carries 2 marks.
Total Number of Questions 80 and maximum marks 100.
