Kwave 3 - Monsta X

This post is going to be about Monsta X because I felt that the Kwave main post was getting too long haha >.< Anyway let’s get started!

So when Monsta X finally came out, the inner (loud) screeching fangirl in myself was unleashed AHAHAHA. I totally didn’t expect and was not expecting it either! But honestly, wouldn’t you do the same upon seeing one of the group that you’re a big fan with :P They came out and kicked the show with Dramarama and in that moment, I swear the cheers from the crowd were really loud tbh (maybe because Monbebes are among the largest fans that made up the crowd that night hehe) The songs that they performed in order are Dramarama, From Zero, White Girl, Be Quiet, Special and ended with Jealousy. I’ll try to include my impressions from one song to another because I’ll want to look back and relive how I felt during each performance ❤

So they kicked off their show with Dramarama and yeah it was one hell of a drama because everyone was literally losing their minds with screaming (especially with the girls behind me lol) And damn this was the moment I realised that Wonho was wearing a GODDAMN SUIT that had a plunging V-NECKLINE (that reallly showcased his chest) boi I see what you did there. It was somehow tight due to his muscles lmao but we were enjoying the view (oops!) Minhyuk and Hyungwon somehow ended up having similar hairstyles so I kinda had quite the struggle to differentiate them while dancing haha. And when Jooheon’s “oh mama gosh” came out, I was also rapping with him and let me tell you, Jooheon’s charisma is on another level, honestly. They were all singing live that night because their voices echoed through and they never disappoint, especially Kihyun. I was indeed starstruck by his voice and he proved enough as their main vocal <3. After that, they did their intro by saying the usual “Apa khabar Malaysia” which meant Hello Malaysia and Kihyun straight up said “Saya Rindu Kamu” (I miss you) and I swore I heard someone behind me said “why would you miss us when it’s only your first time here” LOL. The boys then said hi to us and Changkyun spoke in English. Oh man, Changkyun’s voice when he speaks English is very sexy and seductive :O He said he was very surprised seeing the crowd reaction ( See Starship, now put us on the next world tour list!) And Shownu even asked us if everyone can hear them well, oh sweetie this is one of the reason why I lovee you~

THIS picture was one of the reason why Wonho wrecked my bias list hard that night :))) Bless whoever managed to capture this art while maintaining your calm and sane self! 

Then they moved to performing From Zero which is also one of my favorite song. During this, I actually had the thought of not recording because this song holds a special place in my heart so I wanted to really feel and bask in the moment but I continued recording haha. I really liked the instrumental itself and it’s one of the songs that helps me calm down whenever I’m not in the mood. Thank you really Wonho, I can never thank you enough for this masterpiece. I was in my soft mood throughout this performance while trying to realise that my precious boys are right here in front of my eyes T__T and I got to witness the legendary ShowHyuk moment where Shownu brought Minhyuk’s face to him! And Changkyun changed his part of “For you, I dedicate this song” to “For Malaysia, this is for you” and I felt like crying damn. Then they had a little ment where Kihyun said ‘Sudah makan?Sudah minum?” (have you eaten yet?) and we replied ‘No’ but he didn’t seem to understand it and made a cross sign with his hands. Aww this cutie! And Minhyuk pretended to throw his water bottle to the rockzone crowd lmao cuties XD

Then White Girl came next so another soft moment came through <3 The boys scattered around the extended stage and were waving to the crowd. Now this was when I had an even better view because the boys got even closer to us instead of just standing on the main stage which were only limited to the rockzone crowd. Jooheon was the first to come to my zone and he did a little bow and waved to my area then Minhyuk followed through while waving and doing mini hearts. I was also looking for Shownu because I wanted him to see my placard board which had his meme face plastered on it haha but he was at the other end :( Kihyun basically was all over the place because he tried going to every zone and waving aww again this cutie! I actually noticed that Kihyun really tried hard to wave to each and everyone of us TT. Minhyuk picked a slogan from a Monbebe and raised it up hehe. And I also saw Hyungwon whispering something to Shownu? I had also begun to lose hope for Shownu to come over to my area but then a miracle happened. Halfway through the song, he was at the other end and started to go back to the main stage….and then he turned back and guess.what… He finally came to my area! Now this was also the moment where I freaked out because he started walking to my area and waving to us! I was waving his meme placard while recording and screeching at the same time haha! He came to my area and stopped(?) for a while before waving. I think he saw my meme placard but yeah I don’t wanna put my hopes high so if he saw it, then that’s good :) Now I know why most Monbebes call Shownu a tsundere. It’s because he usually waves to other members fans, but rarely to his stans TT They also said “I love you Malaysia” while holding the slogan made by the Monsta X Malaysia Union Fanbase and went back to the main stage for the next song which is Be Quiet.

They looked really surprised and proud of us and it was such a soft sight to see them like this❤ 

For those who haven’t heard Be Quiet yet, be warned that it’s not a ‘quiet’ song. It’s not, it’s definitely not. When White Girl finished, I was still in my soft mood until boom! Be Quiet started playing and woo the atmosphere definitely changed in a split second. The boys rocked the stage as usual and with rapline continuing to hype the crowd, Jooheon’s BRAAAHHHHH made me gape in awesomeness over him. The dance break led by Shownu gave me goosebumps with how he led them on stage. Then right after finishing Be Quiet, they went on with Special, which was also the theme song for Monsta X Ray Season 3. They went back to the centre of the extended stage again to fully enjoy the performance with the whole crowd. Jooheon and Changkyun was really hyped out that night and they had so much energy flowing that wow, that really made me admire them all. You see, that’s the thing with idols and performers who truly enjoy performing on stage. When you see them performing, and they exhibit so much energy while performing that you indirectly felt their vibes and energy while watching them, you can’t help but to admire the fact that they really do work hard in ensuring good and outstanding performances for their fans. During the part where the lyrics goes “Monsta nagashinda gireul bikyeo!” I was practically yelling that part out lmao its so catchy. During the second verse, they scattered again and this time * Minhyuk, Wonho and Changkyun came to my area. Changkyun was hyping “TURN IT UP TURN IT UP’ with his deep voice hahaha.

And then they announced that it was time to part with us NOOO. I saw Minhyuk kinda pouted that it was the last song already, and that meant that their short time with us was coming to an end. The last song that they performed was Jealousy. When the ‘ye ye ye ye ye’ part came on, everyone was chanting it really loud prolly because it was their last song. I stopped recording then because I was getting tired already so might as well enjoy the finale hehe. Also during Wonho’s part where it goes ‘Why are you talking about Shownu again?’ I think he smirked(?) at Shownu dangg boi the confidence. And during the ‘hammering dance’ part of Jooheon, I legit swore I saw a few of those in rockzone crowd doing the dance also hahaha. And then, the boys bid goodbye and said that they wish to come again here in the future (please do please Starship let them come here) and the ending ment was kinda rushed because it was getting late and also because it was Ft Island’s turn to wrap up the event as the final performer of the event.

Hyungwon’s toothy grin aww he must’ve saw something that made him really happy though!

And I still cannot believe that I got the chance to witness him in front of my own eyes, and he was beautiful❤ Son Hyunwoo, I love you. I really do love you and I’ll love you even more in the future ❤ You really caught my attention that night and honestly I was speechless (and also nervous, excited) when I saw you, finally, even if there were still some distance between us. I hope you did saw my placard meme of you, and do know that you’re loved and appreciated, my love ❤ Till we meet again, so please do come back again here sometime.
