Inktober 2021 Day 19

My sister's main character in LotRO, a captain of Rohan.

My sister was helping me with the Deeping Wall epic battle and when Aragorn said to get off the wall we couldn’t remember how, and that’s how we got the shit scared out of us when the wall blew and sent us (and our pets) flying through the air.

Disaster at Nurz Ghashu

Sister needs me to help her with the Rescue at Nurz Ghashu skirmish and I agree

Sister starts instance she insists is the right one

It’s been a long time since I did any of this but it is not familiar

It’s set at level 60 but me (120) and my sister (65) are getting pasted

Spoiler alert: it is not the right instance

Sister:  “Um, it’s for 12 people.” Me: “Then it’s not the right one.”

Finally we get the right skirmish

It takes us about six rounds to figure out we have to do the indicated Fellowship maneuver to get past the fumaroles

We fight our way past, fumbling along the way.  We finally make it to the second part

We go in with Corunir to find Golodir

Golodir has been consumed with madness!  We must save him!

The Fellowship indicator says “Spirit Spirit”

I quote John Mulaney at my sister “And with your spirit!” and we laugh

I then accidentally kill Golodir

Oops

My sister:  “YOU KILLED HIM!  HOW ARE YOU GOING TO TELL ARAGORN YOU KILLED GOLODIR???”

We fail the instance and go again

We’re still laughing at “And with your spirit”

The Fellowship indicator is Morale Morale

I am still laughing at “And with your spirit” and click Spirit instead

I kill Golodir again and we fail the instance

For the record, my sister would 100% be done with this by now had she done it alone (once she figured out the right instance)

So ONE MORE TIME

We’re still laughing at “And with your spirit”

But this time it’s Spirit Spirit again

So we successfully save Golodir

And I can tell Aragorn we didn’t kill him
