Spike’s brow rose, regarding the woman with humor. “Really? Hadn’t noticed.” The man pulled his smoked from his coat pocket, popping one between his lips and leaning in to light it. He then offered the pack to Faith. “You know, aside from Sunnydale, I wasn’t much for staying in one place, either. Haven’t stayed much anywhere since. LA, Vegas, who knows where next.” He took a deep inhale of the cigarette. “Nothing wrong with being on the run, long as you know what you’re running from.”

Day to day, his biggest problems were the usual ones of a king and he had people who all wanted something from him.  There were a lot of changes to be made if they were going to make Atlantis accessible to everyone on the team if it were ever needed.  Sometimes he got the call that Bruce could use some help and that was when the fun happened.  Bashing in the bad guy’s face before sending him flying was a lot more enjoyable with a team to back him up and although Arthur had walked away tired, he wasn’t dying.  It was nothing like every time Manta showed up and he wasn’t the only one tired apparently.  Diana had fallen asleep and she was starting to lean towards him.  He didn’t move away, but he didn’t put his arm around her either.  She could rest that head wherever she wanted.
