Echo of a Mew in the eye of Kisshu
It was a typical winters evening. By four o'clock the sun had settled and in it's wake drifted a disarray of gleaming stars, complete with the magnificent face of a full moon. A bitter breeze danced it's way through Tokyo's metropolitan maze, sweeping through the alleys, over the littered streets and between the gradually deteriorating traffic; made up of homeward bound commuters. It had been a long day, and a long week for that matter. Having emigrated from her little British town to this new and strange Metropolis, to then also be accepted into one of Tokyo's most prestigious schools, Beacon Academy; honestly it had all been pretty overwhelming.
Stepping casually out and into the cool evening air, Echo took a small moment to inhale, deep and calm. Granting mere few seconds to gather herself after a day of in depth learning. The text books had been so difficult to ingest; the information hard to follow and the questions worthy enough to induce a migraine. She stood for a further three seconds before exhaling. Her expression now soothed as she proceeded to descend the schools polished, stone steps.
" mmh...Thank god it is finally the weekend "
She whispered softly to herself, her arms extending outwards for a brief stretch before then returned neatly to her sides. Her teal tinted hue's curiously gazed to the path ahead once she had exited the school gates and taken an immediate left, down the unsettled pavement and into a vacant park. It wasn't exactly the safest short cut giving the decreased number of street light's, but it was the quickest way home and that was all the blonde really cared about. The breeze was nice, it soothed her pale skin and brought a tint of pink to her cheeks and to the tip of her nose. Echo turned her head, the sound of a swing causing her glance around in curiosity, but mostly caution. Slowly she began to think that walking through a empty park, alone and at night, maybe wasn't such a good idea. It was just so creepy.
